Edd seemed happy all of the time, even after what had happened. Tom and Matt thought it was because he was with Tord. Tord knew the truth, though. Edd wasn't happy at all. Since Tord and Edd were dating, he knew this. Multiple times Edd had poured out all his sadness and worries to Tord, and he let him. It made Edd feel better. This has gone on for a week, and each time Edd did this, he got more and more worried.
That night was the worst.
Edd was asleep and Tord was in the other room. Edd started to scream, waking Tom and Matt.
They ran to Edd's room, and saw him sitting up, crying, staring down at his hands with wide eyes.
"Edd?! What happened?" asked Matt.
"N-nothing, I'm fine." Edd said.
Tord told Tom and Matt to leave. He needed to speak to Edd alone. "Tell me what really happened, Edd. Please, I love you, you can tell me anything."
Edd hugged Tord. "I-I keep having dreams about the gray room. and each time it's worse. This time... this time you died and it was terrible..."
Tord rubbed Edd's back. "It was a dream, I'm right here. I'm ok, and so are you."
Edd fell back asleep, and this time Tord wouldn't leave his side.
