He pulled out the diamond brimmed ring, letting it glimmer in the setting daylight. His knees wobbled, the force of all his weight bearing down on him. Subaru smiled his infamous grin, his beam spreading from cheek to cheek. Yume gasped, covering her shocked expression with her shaking hands.
"Y-yes! Of course!" Yume replied, her words shaken with emotion. Subaru smiled even wider, sliding the shiny ring onto Yumes ring finger. They walked together admiring the small accessory.
"Your so beautiful did you know that?" Subaru pinched Yumes cheek. She pushed his hand away.
"And cute, so cute." Subaru placed his arm around her waist.
"You don't have to tell me so much it embarrasses me." Yume laughed.
"I love it when my boiled octopus laughs. It makes me 10 times more happy. Did you know that?" Subaru smiled back.
"Subaru you compliment me too much." Yume shook her head.
"But you love it anyway." He nuzzled her cheek.
"This is just the beginning of our awaiting adventure."

Mahirus phone buzzed. She scanned the text, typing back a reply.
Kiyoshi♡: hey need to talk. I'm coming over, ok?
Mahiru: hmm...mind telling me what this is about?
Kiyoshi♡: you'll figure out soon enough.
Mahiru: you seem so serious. everything okay? 😅
Kiyoshi♡: come outside please.
Mahiru furrowed her brow in confusion.
Why?
She ran to her door, stepping outside. The cool night air chilled her bare arms. Mahiru gazed around her surroundings, A hooded figure stood by the wall. He made his way toward her, his recognizable light brown hair poking out from his sweater.
"Hey." Mahiru smiled hugging Kiyoshi. He forced a grin back at her. He pushed her away.
"I'm going to be traveling the world, Mahiru."
That one statement rang through her head. Why?
Kiyoshi avoided eye contact, his hair ruffling in the breeze.
"Your leaving me?" Mahiru held her straight face.
"If you put it that way I guess." Kiyoshi shrugged.
"We just started dating and your going to leave me to already? By going to different places around the world? When will I ever see you again?" Mahiru cried, yelling into his expressionless face.
Why?
"You don't understand, babe." Kiyoshi sighed, staring blankly at the star speckled sky.
"Please don't leave me. I need you." The moon cast an eerie glow on her face, tears streaming down. A smile wiped across his face.
