I sat on Chris' bed as I iced my jaw. He was speaking to his mom about Brad and Melody and everything that took place less than two hours ago.

When he finished speaking with her he closed the door before sitting down beside me and rubbing my back. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

I nodded and removed the ice before smiling at him. "I've had better days."

We stayed silent for a while and I just looked around his room.

And then my eyes can't sight of the most beautiful ring on his nightstand. I gasped and walked over to it and picked it up.

I felt his arms around my waist and he rested his chin on my shoulder. "I got you it for our anniversary." He said and I felt guilty.

I quickly put the ring down and began to kiss his jawline.

"Nessa......" he breathed out.

My hands wonder up and down his chest until they lower down to his belt bucket. He jumped and backed away from me looking surprised. "What are you doing?" He whispered.

"I thought we were gonna have sex." I said bluntly.

"Not at one in the morning." He said.

I sighed and sat back down on the bed. He sat beside me and studied my expression.

"Is this about you forgeting our anniversary?" He finally asked and I buried my face in his neck.

"I'm so sorry I forgot. It's just that I had so much on my mind and-"

He cut me off with a deep kiss and when he pulls away, he smiled at me.

"Aren't you mad at me?" I asked.

He shrugged. "I was...... for about two minutes. But then I remembered that everyone makes mistakes and that was your mistake."

I smiled at him and gave him one last kiss before standing up. "I need something to sleep in." I said.

"Your pjamas are in my closet." He said and I walked over to his closet only to be greeted with my sweatshirt and shorts lying on a shelf. I grabbed them before closing back the closet and walking over to the bedside.

I took off my shirt and immediately Chris dragged me onto his lap. "Why don't we finish what you just started?" He whispered in my ear. I closed my eyes as his kisses trailed down to my neck and nibbled on my soft spot, causing me to moan.

"I can give you a better reason to moan like that." He whispered to me again and I nodded. He smiled against my warm skin as he slowly laid me down gently on the bed before hovering over me.

"Please... take me now." I whispered.

I slowly opened my eyes to the dark room and turned to see a sleeping Chris. I stretched for my phone on the nightstand and checked the time to see that it was eleven.

I groaned as I got up out of bed and looked down yo see my naked body. I yelped and jumped back in bed, covering myself up properly. Chris turned to me a frowned. "Nessa, why did you yell?" He asked. I shook my head and laid my head on his back when he turned around and he smiled.

"I just realized I am naked." I said. He chuckled and turned around so that he was facing me.

"The door's locked, Nessa. No one is gonna walk in on you." He pointed out. I got up again and head into the bathroom that was attached to his bedroom. I stepped in the shower and washed myself clean.

When I finished bathing, I grabbed and towel and wrapped it around me before stepping out of the bathroom. I looked over on the bed and Chris was sound asleep. I chuckled and removed the towel from my body and wrapped it around my wet hair.

I went into the closet and took up my undergarments and my ripped skinny jeans and my black hoddie because the weather was a bit chilly.

After I got dressed, Chris was still asleep so I existed the room and went into the kitchen. His mom, Blaire,was cooking something on the stove while Emily and Mary were eating. "Nessa!!" Emily shouted once she say me at the doorway. All the attention was on me and Blaire smiled. "Why don't you sit and eat?" She asked.

I did so and sat beside Emily who was in her high chair before grabbing a few pancakes and devouring them. "Is your jaw okay?" Mary asked and I stopped eating. I brought my hand to my jaw and winced when a stinging pain hit me.

I almost forgot about that.

"Yeah. It's fine." I lied just to get them off my case.

Suddenly, Melody entered the kitchen in some black jeans and a black band autographed tshirt. She rolled her eyes when she saw me. "You're still here?" She asked as took up a mug with coffee which I assumed it was Blaire's because she looked at her surprisingly.Melody took a sip before taking a seat beside Mary. "I don't know why you're here. After you caused my boyfriend to go the jail."

"Your boyfriend knocked you out and broke my jaw." I pointed out.

She shrugged. "Well if you were acting like a bitch, what do you think he should've done?"

"Don't call my girlfriend a bitch, it just makes you a bigger one." I looked over and saw Chris in nothing but sweatpants.

"Chris, mind your own business." Melody said and took another sip of her coffee.

Chris walked over to me and pecked my lips and looked at Melody. "She is my business."

"Okay. Break it up." Blaire said as she placed a plate filled with scrambled eggs on the table. "Let's just enjoy breakfast."

"I'm full actually." I stood up from my chair. "I'll be in your room if you need me." I tell Chris and he sighed.

"Is something wrong?" He asked and shook my head.

"I'm just.... full." I confirmed and headed upstairs before entering Chris' room and plopping on the bed. My phone began to ring and I quickly answered it.

"Hey, Brandon." I greeted.

"Good morning, Peppy." He said. "How are you?"

"Fine."

"Great, because tonight you, me and Eva is going to a party." He blurted.

"I have plans." I said.

"I thought you did that last night." He joked.

"No. I have to study for a Math test on Monday." I said.

"Tests are irrelevant right now. You're going to that party." He demanded.

I sighed and shrugged. "Why not?" I asked and he yelled in victory.

"Okay. I'll pick you up at your place at nine."

"Okay. Bye." I hung up the phone and rested it on the nightstand. I then saw the ring. I took it up and looked at it for a while before slipping it on my ring finger. It fitted perfectly. I kept it on my finger and just looked at it.

"I'll text you okay?" Chris said as I stepped on my front porch. He gave me a long passionate kiss. I pulled away and kissed his cheek. "Bye, Chris. We've been standing for more than five minutes."

He chuckled and pulled the hair that was in my face behind my ear. "I'll just FaceTime you instead."

I laughed and put my hand on the doorknob. "I have to go."

He wrapped his hand around my waist and I looked up at him. "Are you sure your mom is home?" He asked.

"I'm positive."

He let go and gave me a hug before running into his car and driving off. I bit my bottom lip and stepped into my house.

The house was ackwardly quiet. I went into the kitchen to see a note on the counter saying that my mom had to work double shifts at the hospital so she'll be back in the morning.

I sighed and sat on the counter, just looking around. "I guess this is how my life's gonna be." I said to myself.
