"Gemma! Come on. You're taking too long. I wanna go to the party!"

"Relax Alice. We'll get to your wonderland soon I promise."

Alice shot me a glare. I tend to always make Alice in Wonderland references about her. I mean like why not? She's blonde just like Alice from wonderland.

"You know I hate when you make those references and you know that."

I walk up to my best friend and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Oh honey... I know." I smiled at her and she rolled her eyes and turned back to the mirror and applied yet another coat of bright red lipstick on her lips.

"You know Gem, I think a great idea for you is to lighten up for this party. Oh how about some lipstick. Attract some upperclassman hottie." She said with a smirk on her lips holding out her fiery red lipstick.

"I can lighten up Al. I just... I just don't want to make any bad decisions. And as for the lip stick... I'm fine with my lip gloss."

"Lip gloss is so middle school Gem."

"Well we are technically still middle schoolers until Monday."

"Oh my gosh Gem. Stop being a buzz kill." She said shaking my shoulders.

"So can we go now Gem?"

I walked out of my room and knocked on my brother Sterling's bedroom door. He opened it and looked at me from head to toe.

"Really Gem? I'm taking you and your friend to your first high school party, and you're dressed like that?"

"What does that supposed to mean?"

"Go change. Let Alice dress you." He said smiling.

I rolled my eyes and went back to my room.

      "I told you so."

      "Told me what?"

"Told you that you needed to slut it up a bit." She said tugging my shirt downward to show off my boobs.

"Fine just hurry up so we can go."

After the longest 10 minutes and numerous rejected outfits Alice finally got me into a way too slutty outfit for myself.

      "I look like you Al."

      "What does that mean?"

      "Slutty." She punched my shoulder.

"Bitch! That hurt!" I shoved her backwards.

She grabbed my shoulders and pushed me onto my bed and got onto of me and shook my shoulders.

"Get off of me, you weigh like a horse!"

We continued to play fight on my bed and then there was a knock on my bedroom door.

"When you two are done being dumb can we go?" Sterling asked.

Alice got off of me and brushed her finger across my brother's jawline as she walked down the stairs and out to my brother's new car.

I shrugged my shoulders and ran past him to follow her.

This is going to be a long night.
