There was a 1 year difference between my older brother and me. As kids we would go to the park with our beloved mother and father and play football. When we first started the tradition we went every single Saturday afternoon and unwind from the hectic week we all shared. My brother and I well we were just the ages of 2 and 3 when the tradition started. I know we were too young to play but as soon as we both first touched that ball, we got the football bug instantly.
From that moment on we continued our tradition every single Saturday leading all the way through elementary school, middle school, and up to high school. My brother was just finishing up his freshman year in high school and I was just about to start my freshman year. My brother had a pretty amazing freshman year. As soon as he got into school he was put onto the varsity football team and automatically by the mid year time he was the starting quarterback. Once high school year approached for me, things had started to change. I began to depart from my brother's dream of the both of us. His dream was for him and me to both be on either the same or a NFL team in general. As high school came near I knew that the other girls in the school wouldn't accept me as trying to be one of the guys. So I decided right before school freshman year starts, to push the football ideas to the side and be a normal everyday teenage girl.
So I guess my freshman year really started the last Friday before the Monday that freshman year starts. My best friend Alice begged me to go to a 'End of the Summer' party. I knew for a fact that this could go two ways. Either really good or absolutely horribly bad.
