Chapter VII - Rika and Ashiya

"Maou.... Maou... wake up..."
"Uhh... E-emi.." said Maou "Is it morning already?"
"Yes.. and I need to go to our room now.. so.." started to blush and worry
"Sure.." Maou smiled
"Uhm..."
"What's wrong?"
"It... hurts..."
"It hurts?"
"Yes.." 😢
Maou suddenly realized the point "I'm sorry..." kissed Emi's forehead "should I carry you to your room then?" 😏
"N-no! J-just walk me there.. please?"
"Anything for my love" Maou gave her the warmest sweet smile
"Thank you" smiled as well.

They walk with their hands intertwined while going to the girl's room at the 3rd floor.

"Are you sure you can walk?"
"H-hai...!" said Emi while ignoring the sting in between her legs while she walks. But Maou noticed it since Emi's having a tight hold of his hand.

"Okay here we are, try to rest for a bit okay?"
"Okay.." then she knocked at the door

Knock! Knock!

"Hai....." a young man's voice
"EH?!" said Maou and Emi
Then Urushihara opened the door
"URUSHIHARA?!!" both said
"Yo.. good mo-"
"What are you doing inside the girls room?!!" said Maou
"Relax! Its just me and Suzuno.. sheesh!"
"Where's Rika and Chi-chan?!" Emi asked
"Well I don't know about Rika, all I know is she's with Ashiya last night.. Chi-chan just went home yesterday, she left a note. Here..." said Urushihara while passing the note to Maou.

"I'm sorry guys, I gotta go home first! There's an emergency at our house so please excuse me, I'll make it up to you soon - Chiho"

"Chi-chan..." said Emi with sadness on her face..
"C'mon Emi... don't be sad.." caressed his lover's cheek.
"Better check our room, Maou.." said Urushihara

The two got back into their senses and ran towards the boys room which is just 4 doors away

"Ashiya!!" Maou shouted while knocking violently

"Ashiya!!!"
The noise woke Ashiya up from his comfortable sleep, he got up while his eyes still shut. A pound in his head started, he opened his eyes and saw his surrounding spin like crazy... "Fuck this hangover... what happened? I forgot how'd I get here.."
"Ashiya!!!!" still knocking
"Gasp! Maou-sama!" he was about to get up when he heard a soft voice
"Hhmm.. Ashiya..."
Ashiya's eyes widened as he looked over to where the voice is coming from

"R-rika?!! Sh-she's n..n..nak..k...ked!" in his thoughts "AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" he shouted.

"Ashiya! Whats going on in there!?!"
"Ha! Maybe he just realized something forbidden. Haha!"

After 15 minutes of knocking the door opened..

"I'm sorry, Maou sama, for keeping you waiting..." depressed and ashamed Ashiya.

They went inside and saw Rika sitting on one of the beds, and blushing

"Let's go Rika.." Emi grabbed her hand and they went to their bed room leaving the three boys behind

In the girl's room

"What are you doing?? Are you two already dating??"
"Uhm.. No.." looked down
"So why did you do that??"
"Because I like it Emi..."
"What?!"
"I like him.. and I don't care if he doesn't.."
"My goodness..." Emi face palmed
"You also did it last light weren't you?"
"W-what do you mean?" blushes
"With Maou.."
"H-huh??" Emi looked away
"Really Emi?" asked Suzuno
"Rika where did that come from?!!" said Emi
"You offered yourself to him, because you love him.. so same as with me." tried to look cheerful but a tear fall from her left eye "Oh.." wiped it immediately.
"Oh Rika.." Emi hugged her

Inside the boys room

"Ashiya, why did you do that to her?" asked Maou
"I don't know... I was drunk..." looking down
"Do you like her?"
"W-well!! I-I don't know..."
"You know it very well that she likes you, better settle this now. She deserves to know everything."
"Y-yes.. Maou-sama."

Breakfast time.. they ate at the hotel's restaurant. Everyone is silent..

"I have decided."
"What?" Emi asked
"It is more cheaper to get 3 double rooms than 1 double, 1 triple and 1 quadruple if we are just going to be with our partner.."
"P-partner?" Rika said and looked at Ashiya, both of them blushed awkwardly.
"Maou sama... what do you mean? Exactly??" Ashiya asked
"I will get one more double room for Urushihara and Suzuno and twin bed for you two. So please pack up."
"Celebration of your promotion turns out to be a match making reality tv" Emi commented
"Hehe!" Maou proudly respond

Emi looked at Rika's reaction, being worried.

They finished eating and started to pack up.

"Rika..." said Emi
"I'm okay don't worry.." tries to be cheerful

At their new room..

Rika exhaled a huge amount of breath as if she's removing a solid acid mass clogged inside her chest.

Knock.. knock...

The door opened.

"H-hi!" Ashiya welcomed her
"Hi.." she awkwardly respond while blushing..

The room was quite big and their single beds were far away from each other.. Ashiya's bed is next to the main door while Rika's bed is at the balcony's door, looks like it has been rearranged.

"Right..." saw the DIY furniture arrangement by Ashiya "Will just leave my things here and will leave you alone." hurried to go to the vacant bed and threw her things and walked out as fast as she could with a sting in her chest. "He really doesn't want to see me" she said in her thoughts.
"W-wait..." Ashiya held her arm "Rika please wait.."
Rika stopped, again tried to be cheerful "Yes?" she smiled
"C-can we talk?"
"....sure..!"
The both sat on the floor near Ashiya's bed
"I-I'm sorry.. for what happened"
"No, its cool. Don't worry...."
"....Ano..."
"..............."
"Rika.. I.. uh..."
"You already know that I like you.. so please hurry up in dumping me." smiled at Ashiya
"Rika..." surprised by what she said
"Its not that I don't like you.. its just that.."
"Huh...?"
"We're not the same.."
"*chuckled* Right... so please dump me right away."

"I'm going...." Rika tried to stand
"The truth is I'm a demon!"
"Huh?"
"Yes... I'm a demon..."
"Yes you are... you're mean.." continued to stand

Ashiya grabbed her wrist and dragged her unto him.

"gasp!"
"Rika..." Ashiya hugged her "I've always liked you from the moment that I saw you and I know about how you feel. You're a lovely young woman. I just ignored all of it because we can't be together."
"Wait, I'm getting confused! WHY???"
"We are not humans, I mean, not totally humans."
"We who??"
"All of us.."
"You mean Emi is a demon too?!!"
"No, remember when I told you about the work competition between us and Emi?"
"Uh-huh.."
"It's a lie.. The truth is, she's the Hero, half human half angel and she's bound to destroy the demon lord."
Rika started to get flashbacks about Emi mentioning that term to Maou "Demon lord?"
"Yes, Maou is our lord satan. My true name is Alsiel, one of the demon generals and the right hand of the demon king, Urushihara is really Lucifer..."
"EHHH?!?"
"Yes..."
"AND SUZUNO?!?"
"She is Emi's alliance from the divine church. We all came from Ente Isla"
"Ente... Isla.... Ahh! I heard it from Urushihara birthday party! he did mention it"
"Yes, he did slip his tongue"
"So technically... you're a demon?"
"Yes..."
"Then why are you so.. kind?"
"I don't know..."

"Coming!" said Ashiya then opened the door
"Let's go?" said Maou, tagging everyone.
"Yes!" Ashiya answered
"Where's Rika?" Emi asked
"Oh, she's over there." pointing at the floor beside the bed.
"Rika?" Emi went near her "Rika?!?"
"What's wrong??" said Maou
"I think she's half dead." said Urushihara

Rika has been stunned and still confused of what she heard.

"What have you done??" asked by Maou
"I-I told her everything, you said she has the right to know!?"
"What everything???" said Maou
"Everything! About us all!" said Ashiya
"EEHHH??!!" they all reacted
"Poor Rika..." said Suzuno emotionless while Urushihara kept on laughing.
