I was patiently waiting for Reggie to pick me up.
Is it bad that I feel bad that I'm going through with this just because I want to make Archie jealous and notice me?
I'm not myself these days.
Yes I'm being selfish for doing this but I just want to feel wanted.
The bell rings and I head towards the door to open it for Reggie.
I open the door and Archie was waiting outside.

"Hey Bet- You going somewhere?" He asks looking at my attire.
I was wearing the dress that Jason bought for me.

"Uh yeah. You can come in if you want." I say and move to the side so that he could come in.

"Where are you going though?"

"Uh, I'm going on a date." I say dryly.

"Wha- a date?! With whom?" He asks knitting his eyes with confusion and surprise.

"Yes a date! What you think that no one would like me to take me out!?"
I ask raising my brows.

"God no Betty. I- who though?"

"Someone from school!" I say flatly.

"Well does he have a name?" He asks looking intently at me.

As if on time, the bell rings again.

"Excuse me, my date is here." I say and walk towards the door. I roll my eyes as I hear him following me.

I open the door and I see Reggie.

"Hey Betty." He says softly.

"Ready to go?" I nod.

"Reggie? You're going on a date with Reggie?" Archie asks furiously from inside.

I roll my eyes and wrap my arm around Reggie's.

"Yes! Cmon Reg let's go." I say and he nods.

When we arrived at Pop's my mood wasn't the best but as me and Reggie got talking, I was starting to enjoy his company.
He was actually a pretty cool person if he wasn't such a dìck all the time at school.
We laughed and talked, I hadn't felt this happy in such a long time, it felt nice.

When he brought me home, he walked me towards my door.

"Thank you Reggie. I had a really great time with you."

"I'm glad you did." He says smiling.

"I haven't felt like this in a long time."

"And what do you feel?" He asks as he places a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Happy." I say and look down smiling.

"If you're happy, I'm happy." He says and kisses my cheek.

"Good night Betty."

"Night." I say and walk inside my house.

I was smiling all the way up my room.
I was recollecting whatever happened and I was happy.

I got in and took a deep breath as I closed the door.
I switched on the light and turn around to place my bag on my table.

"You've got to be kidding me!" I say with frustration.

"Listen Betty, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted that way." Archie says sitting on the edge of my bed.

"I waited for you to come back, and I wanted to tell you, if you like Reggie its none of my business but the guy can be an àsshole."

I narrow my eyes at him.

"Your point?"

"I'm happy if you're happy. That's my point. You're my best friend. I acted that way because I didn't want you to get hurt." He said and placed his head in his hands.

"Thanks Archie but you don't have to worry about me being hurt. I went through so much this last few months that I don't think a heart break would even hurt me a bit." I say slowly sitting down beside him.

"But thanks for caring." I say and place my head on his shoulder.

"Always." He says and rests his head on mine.

Today I was updating one of my other books.

Its called "You're The One That I Want." (Check it out pls.) And I wrote a chapter with 1890 words and when I went to publish the app just stopped working and whatever I had written was lost.
