                                            Dayln's POV

I woke up when my phone started to ring so I took a glance a my clock and it was 10:00 A.M I could sleep in since it was Saturday.I reached over and grabbed my cell phone that's on the side table by my bed and answered it

"Hello?" I asked

"Hello is this Dayln Berry?"

"Yes it is, who is this?" I asked

"This is detective Charles, when was the last time you have seen Maranda Baird or Naomi Wright?"

"Umm, I saw Maranda a yesterday at school . Why?" I asked

"She didn't come home yesterday so we were wondering if she was with you."

"No sir she isn't." I said worriedly

"Would you mind if you could come down to the station?"

"I don't mind at all, I will  be down as soon as I can." I said

"Okay thank you sir for your cooperation." and with that he hung up

'I hope she is okay, I don't know what I would do with out her in my life'

I got out of my bed and threw on a pair of jeans and put on a grey sweatshirt. I ran to my car, hopped in and drove to the station. When I got there I got out of the vehicle and walked into the police station and the detective met me. I followed him into an interrogation room and we sat down to talk. 

"So, how long have you known Maranda?" He asked

"For a few years, we met in school." I said

"Where were you between 2:00 P.M. yesterday and 10:30 today?" He asked

"I went home directly after school and then I did my homework ate supper and played video games, when I was done playing video games it was 2:00 A.M." I said truthfully

"Was anyone else at your house or was it just you?" He asked

"My Mother and Sister live at my house." I told him

"Alright I will be right back, and in the meantime you just stay here." He said as he excited the room

'I know now how Josiah feels. Not even knowing if the girl of my life is alive and safe'

He finally came back a while later

"Your story checks out. Do you know of anyone that would want to kidnap or hurt Maranda?" He asked

"No, well at least she hasn't mentioned anything about someone trying to hurt her."

"Do you know of anyone who would want to hurt you?" He asked

"No."

"Well thank you for your time, you are free to go. We will let you know if we find out anything." Said the detective as he opened the door and waited for me to leave. So I got up without saying a word and left the building and drove home.

When I got home I ran up to my room shut and locked the door behind me, pulled out my phone from my pocket and started to text Josiah.

Me; Hey man, did you hear about Maranda and Naomi?

Him; Nope. What about them?

Me; They have gone missing, and I am freaking out.

Him; WHAT?!?!?!?! dude please tell me ur joking.

Me; No.

Him; Frist Madison, and now Maranda and Naomi. What's going on?

Me; I don't know, but its kinda strange that Madison goes missing and then her friends goes missing too.

Him; Ya, I know what you mean, either its a coincidence or they have been kidnapped by the same man.

Me; I am going to stop by Maranda's house, to see if I can find anything.

Him; Can I come too?

Me; Sure I will pick u up.
