The waves of the Atlantic Ocean hit against the sides of the Jolly Roger as the boat sailed further away from England. The crew were hard at work and were singing a song as they worked. The Captain and first mate were in the captain's quarters discussing the damned island that they were unfortunately returning to.

"We have to stay away from Mermaid Lagoon." Hook states. "You know how they are." No more was said.

"What about somewhere near the Indian Camps?" Smee asked.

"No, we don't know if they will attack, besides our swords and cannons we are in no way armed for a battle." Hook said.

Smee was observing the ancient, ripped map that was atop his best friends mahogany table while Hook was pacing next to him. Besides the map, on the table there was a gold compass, a spyglass, several charcoal pencils, and a clay jar. Hook's quarters were very simple, for he saw no need to decorate. He simply had his maps that covered the walls, his desk, a chest that he stored his clothes in, and a simple net hammock along with a thin blanket and pillow was what served as his bed.

"What about Cannibal Cove? actually, anywhere called Cannibal Cove especially on that island cannot be a safe place for men to stay at." Smee responded.

"JAMIE! SKULL ROCK IS PERFECT!!!!" Smee suddenly yelled pointing to somewhere on the map.

Hook went over to his desk and looked at where Smee was pointing and listened to him continue to list its advantages.

"It's a good distance away from the island, it has a giant rock we can hide the ship in, and plenty of locations for the crew to hide in also if need be." Smee stated, proud that he had thought of Skull Rock as the best option for the crew of the Jolly Roger and the circumstances in which they returned to Neverland for. Smee suddenly shivered just by thinking of the name of the dreaded island. Hook had not noticed because he was still looking at the map but he nodded in agreement and then walked away out of his quarters to navigate and see the location of the Jolly Roger and to check up on his crew. Smee followed him and as they both went to open the door of Hook's quarters the ship started to shake and the the yells of the crew was heard.

When Hook and Smee exited the quarters they were shocked to see the crew attacking what seemed to be giant tentacles with harpoons. The tentacles belonged to a giant, red octopus whose goal was to seemingly destroy the Jolly Roger and devour every member on board.

"That's an octopus" Hook stated.

"Yes I'm well aware that it's an octopus,  brilliant deduction skills Jamie really" Smee replied sarcastically.

No more words were spoken as the two men ran to help their crew mates. Smee found a harpoon on the deck and ran over to the nearest tentacle and started stabbing it with two other crewmates. James however decided to start climbing the ship all the way up to the crow's nest. To any person it might've seemed as if James Hook was a coward....... they couldn't have been any more wrong. As soon as Hook reached the crow's nest he did something no other member of his crew would've done, he jumped, not into the water but unto the octopus's giant, red (and not to mention slimy) head.

"JAMES, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Smee yelled in fright, for he was scared that his best friend might lose his life.

"DON'T WORRY!" Hook yelled back. "I HAVE A PLAN"

"With that comment Smee stops talking to Hook and continued stabbing that damned octopus's tentacle. Smee trusts Hook with his life, but, he feared that not even the great James Hook would leave unscathed from the clutches of this eight-armed cephalopod.

At this point the octopus has noticed that Hook was on his head and brought a tentacle up to his head to try and grab Hook. Hook quickly understood what the octopus was doing and jumped off its head and onto the base of one of the tentacles which was exactly underneath the humongous eye of this beast. Hook unsheathed his sword and with one quick movement jabbed his cutlass into its eye and jumped onto the Jolly Roger's deck.

The octopus let out a cry of pain, let go of the ship, and went down into the murky depths of the ocean. At that moment everything became silent except for the breaths of the crew of the slightly damaged Jolly Roger. The crew then decided to let out a yell of joy because their captain had once again saved their lives and unable to control their happiness lifted Hook and Smee onto their shoulders and paraded them on deck. Hook and Smee looked at each other and started laughing. After a minute of solid laughter from the two men they looked at each other with dancing eyes and shook hands while complimenting each other's bravery.

However, two thoughts went through every crew mates heads at that moment. Number one was 'Why did the octopus attack?' Because it did not eat any member of the crew. And the second thought was 'Is there any more to come?'

"Um Cap'n I'm sorry to be a bit of a pansy while we're celebrating but.... why did the beast attack us and is anything else going to happen?" A shipmate asked fearfully.

"I believe that we simply sailed over its nest and it thought that we were food but we sure proved it wrong am I right boys?!" Hook answered back egotistically.

"YES CAP'N!!!" The crew yelled.

"And as for your second question, the ocean is unpredictable. Perfect weather could easily become a dreadful storm. We always have to be prepared for that." Hook answered again.

"Now let's go inside and eat boys, I do believe that we have earned it." Smee said.

Unfortunately, the food was going to have to wait, because true to Hook's word a perfect day with not a single cloud in the sky could turn into a storm which could potentially kill all of them in the blink of an eye. And the Jolly Roger and all who inhabited it were headed straight for one hell of a ride.

"Men" Smee said calmly "Grab a rope, tie it around yourself and the ship, if you wish to live another day."

As the crew ran around like headless chickens to try and find a rope to tie around themselves and the ship, Smee very calmly turned around to face Hook who was on his right and had this conversation with him.

"We really cannot catch a break today can we?" Smee asked tiredly, wanting nothing more than to enter his quarters and sleep the rest of the day away.

"Nope" Hook answered with the same amount of exhaustion. For he knew that this was simply a message from the horrid demon very clearly stating 'I know you're coming back and I'm ready'.
