This is our second week of learning. It is a bit hard but fun. It is great to again, learn new things.
"Making an outline" and "Sensory details" were our topics for this week. We also have started spelling words that are related to our topic. We called it "AWAD" or "A Word A Day".
I learned that outlines are made to shorten presentations and write ups. It is composed of a title, subtopic and details which supports the subtopic. We even tried to make an essay out of outlines to so that it would be easier for us to understand it even more.
I also learned that sensory details helps readers to understand the story better. It allows us to see, hear, taste, smell, and feel what the writer is discussing.
I learned to show and not to tell. It is just like telling a girl you like her. You dont actually say you like her, but you show her what it feels like to be loved by someone.
So thats it for this week. Hopefully, the following weeks will add more knowlegde and experience to me.
