All the nights,

I spent at your place.

You held my hands in yours,

And I studied your face.

You told me stories,

That I wasn't around for,

I told you my epiphanies.

You laughed at my silly theories,

But, never disregarded them.

I pretended to be angry,

But, we both knew I was only joking.

You pout,

And I started giggling away.

You leaned into me,

Pulled me in for a  kiss,

Why hadn't I doubted you sooner?

I thought I knew you so well.

So, how did I miss this?
