I knocked on the bathroom door repeatedly, trying to get whichever one of my roommates that was in there out.
"Marcus! Or Lucas! I need to get ready, you've been in there for so long get the fuck out!!" I said, sighing loudly. Suddenly the door opened and it was not Marcus or Lucas standing there.
"Oh, uh, sorry," I said quickly, looking down at my feet so I didn't have to make eye contact.
"Sorry for taking the bathroom, Ivan was using ours and Marcus told me I could use it," he said shyly. This one must be Emilio then, if Ivan was in the other bathroom. Perfect, now I don't have to ask.
"It's okay, didn't mean to yell at you, I always do it to Marcus and Lucas," I said, laughing a little.
"I get it, you guys are good friends?" he asked.
"Yeah, we've been best friends since we were basically fresh out of the womb," I answered, nodding my head. I finally looked straight into his eyes, realizing that they were stunning.
"That's really great that you came here with people you already knew so well," he smiled, his heavy accent making it a bit harder to understand what he was saying, but I understood.
"Well you have your twin, that's better than anything, right?" I asked.
"I guess so, but both of us kind of feel a bit like outsiders here," he replied.
"You'll get used to it pretty quickly, everyone here is really nice," I reassured him, a smile spreading across my face. The corners of his mouth twitched a little and soon enough he was smiling back at me. There was a bit of a silence before he finally spoke again.
"Well I should probably go get dressed and stuff," he said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head.
"Uh, yeah, of course, sorry," I stuttered, moving out of the way so he can pass me. Just as he was about to walk out the door he turned back to me.
"See you later, Bella," he grinned.
"Yes you will, Emilio," I giddily said back to him. He shut the door behind him and I found a smile still lingering on my face as I heard the faint step of his footsteps go down the hall.

I sat on the floor in my room with Lucas and Marcus as we were editing our videos while we chatted.
"So the twins seem nice," I said after a moment of silence.
"You think so?" Lucas asked. I nodded.
"I dunno how I feel about them," Lucas shrugged.
"I think you guys aren't giving them enough of a chance. Just because they're also twins doesn't mean you have to have a feud," I explained. They didn't reply for a moment and I just heard the clicking sounds of them typing and clicking on their laptops.
"Come on guys," I encouraged "you're gonna be miserable if you keep acting like they're enemies."
"Obviously you like them," Marcus mumbled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I inquired, pushing my laptop away a bit and looking at him, waiting for his reply. They never acted like this, I don't know what was getting them all worked up about having a new set of twins in the house.
"They're attractive, of course you like them," Marcus answered.
"You're kidding me, right?" I said, shocked that Marcus of all people would say something like that.
"Okay," I sighed, "talk to me when you guys get over this weird jealously thing and stop acting like your best friend is superficial."

I closed my laptop and picked it up, tucking it under my arm and walking out the door.
"Come on Bella," Marcus called after me. I just kept walking.
What has gotten into them?
