The sun's light pierced it's way through the white blinds of Malaysia's room. She turned to snuggle into Michael's chest, pulling the covers over her face on the way.
"You should invest in some curtains, they'll help." Michael chuckled, his chest vibrating beneath her face.
She groaned in response.
"It's 11:30. You don't want to get up and grab food?" he asked kissing her on her head
She groaned again, "I need to go workout."
"So let's go," he spoke moving her off him and getting up.
She watched as he went into the connected bathroom, brushing his teeth and washing his face. She was so in love but she didn't want to say it. What if he didn't feel that way? What if he felt weird and pushed her away after she announced it? She swore only those extra ass white people in lifetime movies, and YA books thought shit like that, but here she was doing just that.
She got up, freshening up real quick and changing into her workout clothes. They talked about school as they headed towards her apartment's gym facility.

"So, basically all you do is party?" she laughed pulling up the jeans that had become a little bit big on her.
"I mean, yea - sometimes." he laughed "I do the important shit first and then fill up my free time."
"So you be dancing with those girls huh?"
"Nah, I just go for the drinks." he said playing with a curl on the girls head
They were currently waiting in line at a local food truck that she and her friends ate at every other day. It was pretty warm in Philly and she thought sitting in a restaurant waiting more than thirty minutes was pointless.
"Whatever." she chuckled rolling her eyes
His arm immediately snaked around her neck, "Okay, I do but none of them dance like you." he finished winking an eye
"Still sucking up I see." she smiled handing the woman the money for their food
They turned and found an open spot at the table, girls eyeing the boy as they sat.
"Stop." he murmured
"Stop what?" she asked
"The face," he told her mimicking her. "I don't care about them May, no need to start bucking." he laughed
Malaysia had always been a jealous person. In fact, that's one thing her and Michael had in common. Besides that and them being goofy, they were complete opposites. She wasn't always very confident with herself, and Michael was so Michael and she was Malaysia and basically she still felt like she wasn't always enough and someone could snatch him at any point in time.
