BUMP, BUMP
"It's so big!"

"It's a good thing we ran into this carriage, isn't it, Link?"
"I was dying of thirst! I never knew a field could be so huge!" Link drank from a jar. "Did you say the person at the castle who we have to meet is called Princess Zelda?"

"Yes, we must give her the Kokiri's Emerald. Don't mess it up!"

The carriage driver looked back at Link. "Hey! We're there! The castle town!"

"Hey! We're there! The castle town!"

Link hopped off the carriage. "Wow! So many people! This is the "world"? What a big building! Navi, which ones the castle...? All that traveling... I'm so hungry..." Link sat down on the ground, his stomach howling.

"Hang in there! You just had some milk, right?"

Link looked to his left, and saw a stand full of food.

"Welcome! It's cheap! You'll be sorry if you don't stop and look!"
"Ahh! FOOD!!"

Link immediately grabbed all he could, and started eating away. "It's a hundred times better than the fruit in the forest!"
A couple people surrounded Link. "Hey, kid! You've got money for all that, right?"

"Money? What's that?"

A little girl was walking in town. She petted a dog that roamed around, and smiled at couples dancing. She heard a bunch of yelling in the corner, and went to see what the fuss was all about.

"Impudent brat!"
"Thief!"

She pushed through the crowd, and saw a young boy being lifted and some men searching his pockets.
"Hm? What have we here?"
"Agh!!"

The man pulled out a green stone.
"Give it back! Give it back!"
"Pay for your meal and you can have it back."

"Wait!!"

The girl shouted at them.

"I'll pay for him. Give back the stone."
The girl handed the men rupees. They counted them up...

"200 rupees?!"
The girl took Link's hand and ran.
"Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter. Hurry!"

"So you're from the forest, eh?"
"Yeah. Thanks. This thing is really important."
"It's a pretty stone."
"It's the Kokiri's Emerald! The Great Deku Tree told me to give it to Princess Zelda."

"Really?"

"That's why I have to go to the castle!"
"But I doubt you can get into the castle all by yourself. The guards are pretty strict."

"Huh?! What should we do, Navi?"

"...I'll make you a deal. You play with me today. And if you do, I'll take you to see Princess Zelda."
