A horse stormed by, exiting the dark castle, engulfed in flames. The baby in the riders' lap cried. The storm is getting worse...
"A castle is... burning. But it's not... Hyrule Castle... I wonder where I am..."
Link had the first person view of the baby..."And who that person is." Link stood before the Great Deku Tree. "Link... Link... Link..."
Link sat up. "GREAT DEKU TREE!" He looked around. "It was just a dream."
The moon shown brightly onto the boy. He looked in his hand. "The Gorons' ruby. Only one left to go. But I have no idea where to find the spiritual stone of water. I bet the Great Deku Tree knew where it was..."
"Link... I believe in you."
"Let's go, Navi!" Link walked through the darkness, and suddenly stopped. "What's the matter, Link?"
"I hear singing. Who could it be so late at night?"
Link walked up a hill and into a ranch. "It's coming from over there."
"A ranch? But it looks deserted. It's gotta be a ghost... let's get out of here!"
POW!!
"There it is! Nooo! Run, Link! Ru—huh?" It was the horse from before!
"You! The pony from before! So this is a horse ranch?"A feminine voice talked to Link.
"Who are you?"
Link looked at the fence behind him.
She jumped down.
"Hurray! It's been a long time since we had a visitor! Welcome to Lon Lon Ranch! Where have you come from? You have a fairy... you must be from the forest. C'mon with me!"
She lead Link into the house. "Um... we didn't come to sightsee..."
"Everyone's a night owl around here... well, everyone but dad."
Her father was sleeping on some hay.
"Father! What are you doing?! We've got visitors!" Her dad sat up. The man who was feeding the horses looked at her.
"You woke up Talon just in time for his nap. Honestly! If it wasn't for me, nothing'd get done around here! We should rename this place Ingo Ranch!!"
"You're right, Ingo! You really do keep the place running!"
"Um... I'm in a hurry, I'm on a quest to find the spiritual stone of water..."
