"Little dhampir. How nice to see you again. How's my relacement? Or was I his replacement? I really can't keep track of details like that anymore..." I ignored what my gut said to do. It said to walk over there, pin him down, and let my silver stake pierce his heart. But no. Averting my eyes, I pulled a beambag towards Lissa and the tv, I plopped down and tried to focus on whatever ridiculous show the lovebirds were watching.

"So, Rose," Adrian was saying. "Did you and Belikov have sex on the first date of what? Or was it first lesson, since now you admit to having an affiar during school." Lissa sent Adrian warning looks. He waved her off. She whispered something in Christian's ear, but I couldn't hear what she said. Christian nodded. I tried my best to ignore all of them, especially Dimitri who was standing a few feet behind Christian. He looked as if he was planning on killing Adrian right this second. I desperately wanted to calm him down, but I knew it would only make matters worse.

"Lucky guy, Belikov. Rose wouldn't even have sex with me after a few weeks of dating. Hung around, just for her, but I suppose she was still moping over you." That was it. Dimitri bolted out of the corner, and lifted Adrian off the couch. Holding him by his collar, he came extremely close to Adrian's ear.

"Enough," he commanded. Adrian kept the smirk on his face. Dimitri looked hot, but frightening. If only looks could kill.

Adrian's eyes flickered to Dimitri's lips. "Ah. She bit your lip. Rose did that to me too."

Dimitri's eyes grew huge with rage, and he bounded over the couch, Adrian still in tow, Dimitri pinned him down. He had one knee, pressed against Adrian's chest. Seeing what was happening, Lissa gasped and covered her mouth. Christian pushed Lissa off of him, while steadying her on her feet. He stood up and moved closer to Dimitri and Adrian's fight.

Sprinting to Christian, I saw that Lissa was coming up behind him, with noticably slower relfexes. I motioned them away, but when Chistian gave no leeway, I decided to use force. Shoving my palm into his chest, I forced him to back up a good four feet. He was stubborn though, always trying to get closer. Adrian and Dimitri's fight was getting worse, but thinking like a guardian, I knew I had to ensure Christian and Lissa's safety first.

"Stay back," I hissed at them. Lissa understood and held Christian back. Then, I turned to face the chaos I was responsible for.
