Chapter 6: Lying game

"How long?"
He sighed. "Two months".
"Does anyone else know?"
"No one besides you Dani. Blake and I discovered this morning that she was...pregnant".
Dammit Travis.
I let out a sigh.
"Is Blake okay?"
"She...she broke down shutting at me. So I left to give her some time to be alone".
"You have to tell Carlisle". I stated firm to Travis. He let out a sigh and stood up.
"I can't..."
I walked over to him. "You have to Travis. You don't have much of a choice besides Carlisle and Edward can help with..."
"The baby". He stated. I put a hand on his shoulder.
"Look from what Carlisle told me you've been through lots worse. And he also mentioned that you wanted to be..a father".
"Not like this". He said. I sighed and turned him around to face me.
"Before you talk to anyone else about this you need to talk to Blake. She's the one carrying the...baby and it should be her choice". I told him.
"I know. I don't want to put her through all that pain if she can't bare it".
"If you want me to come with you for support then I will". I offered to him. Travis let out a sigh and shook his head. I knew that he needed to do this on his own, but Blake needed a friend right now and I was her best bet at that. Especially since Jacob was nowhere to be found.
"I greatly appreciate the offer Dani, but I have to do this on my own".
"Why do men have to be so macho". I joked making him smile a bit. "And whoever said that it was a turn on is dead wrong".
"Thank you Dani for helping me with this". Travis thanked me as we moved closer to the front door.
"Anytime Travis. Besides Blake's my friend and I want to see her happy". I glanced out the window as I heard another engine running.
"It's Emmett. You better go if you don't want anyone to know about the vampire impregnating a human again episode". I stated as I heard Emmett's footsteps at the door. Travis nodded and slipped out the back. I let out a sigh. Dammit I hated laying to Emmett, but Travis needed time to talk to Blake and get everything all figured out. Why did everything have to be so complicated?! I shook my head and opened the door for Emmett. He smiled back at me as he handed me a bunch of red roses.
"Hello beautiful". He winked at me as I moved aside for him to come in.
"Hey yourself". I replied with a kiss. He grinned as I took the roses from him.
"You know Romeo giving flowers is usually something you do before a date and last time I checked we don't have one". I explained to my fiancé. Emmett rolled his eyes and walked over to me.
"Doesn't matter babe. You can't say no to me". He smirked. I brought my hands up to my hips.
"Oh trust me big boy I can".
He smirked even more then brought his face closer to mine. Until our noses were almost touching.
"I wouldn't if I were you". He warned me with a smile.
"Oh and why not?"
Emmett smiled and grabbed me and slammed me up against a wall.
"Oh so scary". I laughed. Emmett chuckled and planted a kiss on my lips.
"So you going to tell me why Travis was here so early this morning?" Emmett questioned me. I pulled away and let out a sigh.
"He needed some advice from me". I lied to him. As much as I hated lying to Emmett I had to keep Travis secret. At least until he and Blake were ready to tell everyone.
"Advice about what exactly babe?"
"Blake...she's been a bit distant since he's been back and he's afraid that she'll leave him".
"He's got nothing to worry about babe. Blake loves him like crazy". Emmett stated. I nodded my head in agreement at my own lie.
"I know that and I know that deep down he knows it too".

I promise that more action and stuff will happen in the next coming chapters. I just want to set the scenes first. Also I saw TF5 twice and I am going again Tuesday night. It was a fantastic action packed film with some twists that I was not expecting. Second fav tf film to date!
