Three years have passed since the disappearance of Morgana Westton. Luke and Leia had returned home to Naboo for a week of rest, and then set out to search for Morgana. To no avail. Luke gave up after a year of searching. He and Leia stayed on Naboo. The other Jedi Knights continued to search.
__________________________Killian and Dahlia sped through the asteroid belt. Pirate ships chased closely behind them.
"I think we shouldn't have taken that much!" Dahlia shouted as she fired the guns at the pirate ship.
"The pirates owed us. We took what we needed." Killian argued with her.
"Whatever, just keep flying." Dahlia replied. "We must make it to Naboo."
"We are almost out of the asteroid belt!" Killian yelled.
"Dammit!" Dahlia shouted.
One of the pirate ships following them hit the right wing of their ship.
"Did you at least get him too?!" Killian asked.
"Yes...The ship is gone, but there is still another on our tail!" Dahlia responded.
"Don't worry, we are out of the asteroid field." Killian said.
He hit the ship into light speed. A red flashing light came on.
"Uh oh." Killian frowned. "We should worry again."
"What?!" Dahlia asked. "What does that light mean?" She started to panic.
"We wouldn't be able to make it all the way to Naboo. We'll have to stop at a near by planet." He explained.
"Ugh." She grumbled. "I knew this was a bad idea. It was too big of a score."
"Come on...it was fun." He argued.
"It was fun when we were doing smaller jobs." Dahlia said. "This is different."
"Because we were almost caught and that scared you." Killian said.
Dahlia sighed. "Yeah." There was a pause. "Where are we going to land?" Dahlia asked Killian.
"I was thinking, Rodia." He answered. "See Cax, maybe."
"That would be great." Dahlia smiled. "How long has he been back home?" She asked.
"About a year now." Killian said. "He is working close with the senator as a prodigy. He is using his smarts to make new investments and other good things for the system." Killian exclaimed. "What about Iona'Ryn?" He asked Dahlia.
"She is still looking for Morgana, exploring the galaxy." Dahlia said.
"She should give that up. Everyone else did...even Luke." Killian said.
"I told her that. She wants to be free and travel the galaxy. That's what she is doing and looking for Morgana is just part of it." Dahlia explained.
"I guess." Killian shrugged his shoulders.
"Have you heard from Jakob?" Dahlia asked.
"Not recently." Killian replied. "Last I heard he was on Onderon working as a king's guard."
"And Luke and Leia are on Naboo." Dahlia frowned. "You know, when we all separated, I didn't think it would be so permanent...We need a reunion." Dahlia smiled.
"What?" He asked.
"Yeah." She giggled. "I'm going to make contact with Jakob and Iona. I'm going to tell them to meet us on Naboo. Then we will pick up Cax and take him with us." She was practically jumping with joy.
"Umm...okay." Killian responded. "So you are going to ask them to leave their current lives?" He asked with judgement.
"Just for a few days." Dahlia replied. "We just need to all come together and be friends again." She smiled.
"Okay. And then we need to buy a beautiful city penthouse on Coruscant." Killian smirked.
"Yay." Dahlia giggled.
__________________________They landed on Rodia.
"This ship is in bad condition." Killian said as they touched down.
"There's Cax!" Dahlia shouted.
She ran out of the ship and onto the landing platform. Killian followed her.
"Cax." She smiled as she approached him.
They hugged.
"Dahlia." He smiled. "How are you?"
"Good, and you?" She asked.
"Great."
Killian walked up. "Hey Cax."
"Killian. Great to see you too. Glad you two are still together." Cax smiled.
"We have a little bit of ship trouble." Killian pointed to their blackened wing.
"I see." Cax replied.
"We will pay to have it fixed." Dahlia said.
"Nonsense." Cax responded.
He waved his hand and some nearby Rodians on the platform approached. He spoke Rodian to them and they started to work on the ship.
"Please tell me the cargo is hidden in the ship?" Dahlia asked Killian in a whisper.
"It's all good." He whispered back. "Thanks Cax." Killian said.
"Of course." He replied. "Come on in. Let's catch up." He smiled and lead them inside the city.
Cax showed them around and told the couple about his duties in the city. Then they returned to his apartment to rest and talk some more.
"I'm happy that you are happy, Cax." Dahlia smiled as she sat down at the table with Killian and Cax.
"Thank you, Dahlia." Cax replied. "So, I've told you all about my life here. What have you two been up to?" He asked. "How did you damage your ship?"
"Umm..." Killian wasn't sure if he should just tell the truth, so he looked at Dahlia for some help.
"We have just been...been traveling around. Exploring like Iona, although we haven't really been looking for Morgana as much as she has. We have just been looking for fun. Anyways, we were flying trough an asteroid field, for fun, and Mr. Star Pilot over here hit an asteroid." She exclaimed to hide the real explanation.
"Interesting." Cax said, then he looked at Killian. "I know that it is hard for you to admit to yourself, but if I remember correctly, Dahlia was a better pilot than you my friend. You should just let her fly to avoid this happening again." Cax laughed.
Killian put on a fake smile. "Yes, maybe I should." He looked at Dahlia with annoyance and she shrugged her shoulders.
Dahlia looked at Cax. "How would you feel about coming with us to Naboo?" She asked.
"Wow, no seg-way or anything, just jumping right in." Killian mumbled.
"Umm...why exactly?" Cax asked.
"Just for a few days. To visit. Get the gang back together." Dahlia smiled.
"You know, I would love to. Only for a couple of days though?" Cax responded.
"Yeah." Dahlia answered.
"Okay, count me in." Cax smiled. "What about the others?" He asked.
"We will find Jakob and Iona together. Then we will all go to Naboo to Luke and Leia." Dahlia explained.
"Great. Let's go!" He stood up with excitement and frantically began to pack a small bag of stuff.
Dahlia and Killian returned to their ship to check on it's progress, make sure their cargo was still hidden, and then try to contact Jakob on Onderon.
