Iona'Ryn lead the group to the cliff where their old friend and fellow Jedi, Luca, had fallen. They slowly approached the area as all of them could sense a disturbance in the force on the cliffs edge.
That's when Luke saw her. Her long dark brown hair wasn't long anymore. It had been cut so it barely gazed the tops of her shoulders. She was wearing black pants, but a gray top, which was also different from her usual black on black. Morgana turned around to face the group when she heard then coming up behind her. She had sensed something strange on the planet, but just assumed that the force was different around Luca's resting place. She couldn't believe her eyes. There they were. Iona'Ryn, Dahlia, Cax, Jakob, Killian, Leia, and Luke. She was shocked to see Han Solo traveling with them and Chewie too. At first Morgana didn't know if she should run and hide or just face it. Before she could make up her mind, Luke had approached her. He squeezed her tight in a nice warm embrace. He smelled the same as she remembered. She was surprised that he had forgiven her after all the things she had done. Luke grabbed her hands. Left hand in left hand and right hand in...Morgana looked down to see a glove covering his hand. Morgana immediately knew this was a mechanical hand to replace the hand that she cut off. Guilt washed over Morgana. She quickly retracted her hands from his grip. She met his eyes. His gaze was as soft as ever.
Luke finally felt his heart for the first time in a while. He couldn't believe it. There she was. Morgana. The woman he loved. He met her eyes and then watched as they glanced over his right shoulder. Her jaw dropped.
Rowan approached the front of the crowd. Morgana moved over to Rowan and embraced him. Luke's heart then shattered. It was this moment that his suspicions became clear. Morgana and Rowan had something between them. This guy was threatening the thing he was fighting for. Luke didn't know what to do. There were a flurry of emotions traveling through him. Anger. Sadness. Jealousy. Then anger took control. Luke took two stepped forward, formed a fist with his gloved hand, and took a swing. His fist made contact with Rowan's face and punched him in the jaw. Before Rowan could retaliate, Luke walked away and went back towards the direction of the Falcon. He blocked out all the shouting and confusion coming from his friends.
Morgana went after Luke. Leia argued saying it should be her and that he probably didn't want to see Morgana, but that's why Morgana said she had to go. She had to make this right.
She approached the ship and saw Luke sitting on the entry ramp. He was kicking the dirt around under his black boot. Morgana slowly walked up to him and sat down.
Luke's heart didn't know what to feel. His head and body were screaming for her, but his heart wasn't. He listened to his mind and turned to look at her.
"Luke." She spoke softly. "I thought you hated me, alright." She swallowed. "I thought that you didn't want to find me. That you never wanted to see me again. I thought that I screwed up too much. I still loved you when I met Rowan."
"No, don't Morgana." Luke heart argued while his mind was trying to listen to her voice. "Of course I still wanted you. You were just hard to track down." He paused for a moment while his entire being went through inner torment. "I love you." He said. "Now I want to know what that means to you. Who is it? Me or him." Luke stood up and retreated into the ship.
That was it. Morgana had to choose.
Just then, the others slowly emerged from the tree line.
They all saw her sitting there and stopped. Iona'Ryn was the first one to step forward to her.
She smiled. "It's great to have you back."
"Do you guys really mean that?" She asked.
Dahlia stepped up. "Of course. If you can explain some things. Like, uh, what were you doing with Darth Maul and do you still want to be a Jedi?"
Morgana looked around at all the expecting faces, even Han seemed interested in her answer. Then she saw Rowan. Some blood was dribbling down his mouth. She tried to focus on the question in front of her and worry about the other one later.
"I was confused. Our whole existence revolved around Master Kenobi. He was everything to us. You all didn't seem to be phased by his death. I realized late why. You were acting properly. As Jedi, we aren't supposed to allow emotion effect the task at hand. I did. And so I fell. Maul was tempting me towards the dark side, but I stopped myself because I remembered all of you. When I...cut off Luke's hand...I instantly remembered who and what I was supposed to be. I failed. I failed Master Kenobi, I failed all of you and I failed myself." Morgana sighed. "I still want to be a Jedi, but I don't think I can anymore. I don't think I should anymore. I'm not really sure what I should do."
"Oh, yes you can." Dahlia grabbed her hand. "We have all done things we regret." She glared at Killian. "But we have all managed to stay afloat. That's because we have each other. Nothing will get in our way." She smiled. "You are going to come with us and that's final."
Iona helped Dahlia pull Morgana inside the ship.
