They explained as much as they could to Rowan. He seemed confused, interested, and probably a little scared. Then after talking to them a little more and getting to know them all, he seemed to feel better. His happy smile returned.
"So who is the pilot?" He asked.
Chewbacca and Han stayed up in the cockpit while they all talked.
"Han?" Iona asked. "Yeah, he is a pilot we met a couple of years ago and a friend." She replied and then continued to smirk at the hot man.
Rowan was doing pretty good for himself. He had Leia on one side and Iona on the other. Luke looked at him with curiosity. One week. He was with Morgana for one week. That waitress described them as good friends. If she knew they were close then they obviously hit it off. His blood began to boil. He shouldn't feel jealous. He didn't know if there was anything to feel jealous about, plus it wasn't the Jedi way. But the Jedi code was changing...he needed more answers.
Luke moved closer to them.
"So, Rowan." He said. "You and Morgana were good friends." Luke pulled back his shoulders in and attempt to look dominant. "You didn't know each other very long, so you must have just clicked." He frantically snapped his fingers, then returned to his stern formation.
Luke's dominance was challenged and beat when Rowan stood up. He was taller and slightly broader. Luke met his eyes.
"She was different than any girl I ever met." Rowan, unlike Luke, was very relaxed and still his happy self. "She was mysterious, quiet, and shy. But once I broke through that wall, she was nice, charming, and an open book." He then looked around. "Well, she didn't tell me about all this."
Luke tensed at the way Rowan's face lit up while describing her. "What did she tell you?" He asked with a fake smile plastered on.
Rowan sat back down. "She said she ran away from home and wasn't going back. She said she made some mistakes and was nervous that her family wouldn't want her back...I guess she was talking about you all." He explained.
Luke lowered his shoulders. Morgana wasn't completely lost. She felt guilty for what she did. He glanced down at his hand, then looked back at Rowan.
"Well we do want her back. All that happened is in the past." Luke then went back to where he was sitting before.
Leia could tell her brother was still not his normal self. She hasn't seen her actual brother since before their old master died. Everything changed within him that day. She just desperately wanted his old self back and she believed that finding Morgana was the way to do just that, although Leia wasn't too happy with how Morgana cut off Luke's hand. She was still one of them. Leia took Rowan aside.
He was confused with what she wanted. "What's up?" He asked.
"I just wanted to clear some things up." Leia said. "My brother, Luke, and Morgana were a couple." She said bluntly.
Rowan didn't look surprised by this statement. "I kinda figured." He replied. "Morgana told me she was with someone before and that it didn't end very well." He explained.
"Oh..." Leia was a little shocked about how open Morgana and him were. "Well, were you two...a, umm...."
"A couple?" Rowan finished. "Yes...we were." He confirmed. "I understand that you are coming up to me because you are feeling protective of your brother. Is he your younger brother?" Rowan asked.
"No, I'm actually younger by 32 seconds." Leia responded.
"Your twins. Okay, cool." Rowan smiled. "Anyway." Continued. "I understand that Petra...Morgana had someone from her past. Part of me could tell that they had a deep connection and that she really loved him. I think she still had feeling for him too. But when we met, it was like a whirlwind romance. I love her. I will understand if she chooses Luke. I will leave it to her to decide." Rowan seemed to be genuine.
Leia suddenly felt better. "Okay." She then really looked at Rowan.
He had the same facial structure as her brother. He had similar eyes and their personality was the same too. When she looked at Rowan she saw her brother before Morgana cut off his hand and crushed his heart.
Rowan started to walk away, then turned around. "Could you maybe not mention this to the others?" He asked.
"Umm..." Leia into his eyes and saw his desperation.
The only person who should really know the truth was Luke. His mind was in torment thinking about Morgana in the comfort of another man's arms. Luke should know that Rowan was a polite and nice man, who was respectful of Morgana's choice.
"Alright." Leia replied, then went back to the others.
The Millennium Falcon exited hyperspace and was approaching Felucia.
"Buckle up guys." Han yelled to them.
Iona looked at the group. "Can you believe that we haven't been here since the day Luca died?" She addressed the Jedi.
Jakob spoke next. "Yeah...that was like ten years ago."
"Yeah...wow." Cax frowned.
"I'm just sorry we never got to meet him." Leia replied.
"Who was Luca?" Rowan asked.
Dahlia answered. "He was another Jedi in our group."
"How did he die?" Rowan asked.
"He miss stepped and fell down a cliff." Killian replied. "Then he was eaten by a monster."
Rowan frowned. "Sorry, that's terrible."
Leia went over to Rowan and spoke quietly to him, so the others wouldn't hear. "Luca and Morgana also had a close connection." Leia raised an eyebrow.
Rowan knew what she meant. He was slightly surprised by this. Morgana was playing the field...or maybe it was just because she was super amazing.
The Falcon landing on the surface of Felucia and Han came out to the other.
"This is a big planet." He said. "It may take us a while to find her." Han opened the door to the ship and they exited the Falcon.
"I'm pretty sure I know where she is." Iona replied.
"I think we all do." Dahlia responded.
"Where?" Han asked.
"Don't worry, we're close." Iona said as she started walking to the left.
The others followed.
