Getting to Know You

A/N I don't own Sonic Boom.

A few weeks went by and Ruby was up and felt brand new again. Sonic saw that she was up and decided to go and get to know her a bit more.

"Hey Ruby"

Ruby just gave Sonic a bored look.

"Seeing that your well and much better, i was thinking we can..."

Sonic wasn't able to finish his sentence because Ruby put on her black leather jacket and was almost out the door.

"I can't, I need to go pick up my order at Meh Burgers"

"Right, so maybe when you come back or ...."

And again Sonic wasn't able to finish his sentence when Ruby just walked out the door, right in the middle his sentence.

'Tough babe' He thought smirking with his hooded eyes towards Ruby's form.

Just then Sonic's friends walked in and saw the interaction.

"I don't know about you guys but I have a weird feeling about this girl"

Amy said in a thoughtful pose.

"What no way Amy. Ruby is just fine its because she went through a lot a couple of weeks ago"

Sonic said confidently crossing his arms looking towards his friends.

"I agree with Amy because there was something off about her health chart."

Tails said looking through the paperwork again. Sonic uncrossed his arm and looked at Tails.

"What do you mean Tails?"

"Remember she was unconscious, well i had checked her over and everything was normal."

"That's probably because she heals fast"

"That is a possibility"

"See you guys, there is nothing to worry about."

"Oh no way, I have seen this before"

Sticks said in a panic mode. Sonic just let out a heavy sigh.

"What if she is actually working for the bad guy and is using us to get soft and the next thing we know we are chained up to a wall!"

Sticks said panting holding on to knuckles as he just pats her on the back.

"That's never going to happen."

"Oh yeah how do you know?"

Amy said curiously.

"I don't know but i have this feeling in my gut she is good"

Just then Ruby walked and was surprise everyone was there. Ruby handed a burger, fries and a drink to Tails. Tails looked at it confused.

"What is this for?"

"Helping me"

"Your welcome"

Ruby said with a bright smile on her face. Sonic had a jealous look on his face.

'Are you kidding me, she smiles only at Tails?'

The next thing Sonic knew was that a burger bag was thrown at him. He looked at Ruby who had an emotionless face again.

"What is this for?"

"Carrying me"

"Right, um your welcome"

Ruby then walked away and saw one of Tails invention.

"Hey Fox, can you tell me and show me how this works?"

Tails walked up to Ruby and got his gadget back from Ruby.

"Yeah sorry but i don't think you will be interested?"

"Are you sure? I'm a fast learner"

Tails then had a smile on his face and started telling her about it and it looked like Ruby understood everything he said. They went around his lab and started talking about it like it was some kind of museum.

Ruby then got to know about Knuckles, Amy and Sticks. Sonic was now curious on why Ruby hasn't yet bothered to get to know him.

*Night Time*

Ruby was preparing her bed on the couch and was about to lay down until Sonic knocked on the wall getting her attention. Ruby looked up and saw it was Sonic and she just rolled her eyes. Sonic saw that put decided to ignore it.

"So, i just wanted to see if you were settling in okay?"

"Im doing just fine, thank you"

"You know that we are talking, we can actually get to know each other"

"I think not, its getting late"

"But you had all day to get to know everyone besides me. Why is that?"

Sonic said a little bit harshly.

"Because everyone who i talked to gave me an idea of who you are and what type of guy you are."

"What did you hear?"

"From my conclusion I conclude that you are a big show off even to the ladies. You act tough, you want everything to go your way but in the end you are just a nobody looking for attention."

"Hey i am nothing like that"

"Oh really"

"Of course if you actually get to know me you will see that those were only people's opinions."

"Then prove me wrong"

That was the last thing Ruby said laying down and falling asleep. Sonic was a little bit heated but then thought she was just playing hard to get.

'Oh I have plans for you tomorrow my sweet angel'

Sonic said to himself.
