Sonic Boom X Ruby (OC)

A/N I don't own Sonic Boom.

*2 years Later*

Sonic sigh like 100 times, after Shadow and Ruby left, Sonic broke up with Amy saying if they can just be friends. Let's just say Amy didn't take it so well, because after so long she finally got with Sonic, he all to soon wanted to break up.

Sonic was at his home eating a chilli dog until a knock on his door interrupted his lunch. Sonic went to answer and was surprise to see Shadow at his door step.

"Shadow? What are you doing here?"

"Come walk and talk with me"

Shadow said simply walking away. Sonic was confused and immediately closed his door following Shadow.

"What is your relationship with Ruby?"

"Well, before we used to be together but then I broke up with her when she told me the truth. I should have been more reasonable but I wasn't so I regret that."

"Are you with anyone?"

"I used to but not anymore"

"Do you still love my sister?"

"Funny thing is that I can never get her out of my head."

"So that's a yes?"

"Yes"

Sonic didn't have a clue why Shadow was asking him all these type of questions.

"Hey, wait are you trying to tell me something happen with Ruby?"

Shadow smirk

"Why don't you ask her yourself?"

Sonic was confused but then Shadow pointed to a direction where Ruby was standing. He couldn't believe Ruby was actually here. Sonic quickly ran up to her.

"Ruby you're here?"

Ruby smiled

"Yes I am but this time I'm not alone"

Sonic again got confused but then Ruby stepped aside and revealed a small toddler blue hedgehog. It looked just like him but was smaller up to his knee.

"Is that my kid?"

Ruby smiled and nodded

"He's yours, he has your abilities and basically everything exactly like you."

"What's his name?"

"Sonic Jr the Hedgehog"

"Wow hahaha and he has my name too"

Sonic got down on one knee to have a good look at his son. He was the exact replica of himself.

"Hi there"

Sonic Jr. got nervous and took one step back.

"Hey, don't be scared. I'm your dad."

The little hedgehog looked at his Dad and got closer to him and sniff him. The little hedgehog smiled and looked at his mom.

"Mommy this Daddy you were telling me about right?"

"Right sweet heart"

The little hedgehog then looked at Sonic smiling and ran and jumped on him yelling.

"Daddy!"

Sonic caught him and was surprise he was very light. They both started laughing. Shadow saw the small reunion from afar and smiled a little.

"Hey look, i just made some chilli dogs. Would you both like that?"

"Yeah, chilli dogs are my favorite"

"Really mines too. Let's go."

Ruby was walking along with Sonic while he carried the little hedgehog. As they went inside Sonic's home, they ate and played together and all too soon, Sonic Jr. was falling asleep.

Sonic offered his son to sleep in his bed for a nap. Before Sonic and Ruby can leave. Sonic Jr. hold on to their fingers.

"What's wrong sweety?"

"Mom, Dad are we a family now?"

Sonic and Ruby didn't know what to say to that but luckily Sonic Jr. fell asleep. Sonic turn on a lamp in dim light and Ruby closed the door half way. They both went to the living room for to talk.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner that you were pregnant? I could have been there?"

"Sonic there are a couples of reasons that I didn't tell you. One I was too far away, two you are were still with Amy and I didn't want to be the reason why the both of you broken up. Finally, I .....I thought you might think a child would slow you down. That's why it took me so long to come to a decision."

"Well you pick the right decision because I'm already falling in love with that little guy. As for Amy you don't have to worry about her. We broke up right after you and Shadow left."

"Oh Sonic, I'm sorry"

"No need it was for the best"

They continued to talk for half an hour catching up on everything of what's been going on with their life, until a small cry made them ran to the room. Sonic Jr. was crying.

"What's wrong buddy?"

"I...I had a bad dream"

"What was it about?"

"That we weren't going to be a family"

And again the water works happened again. Sonic was able to calm him down and Ruby was surprised 'Wow he is actually good at this'. Sonic looked at Ruby

"What do you say?"

"I'm sorry what?"

"I said that our son here doesn't have to worry because me and mommy are going to work it out together, what do you say?"

Ruby smiled looking at both her boys and nodded.

"Its going to take time but let see what happens"

Sonic and his son both cheered and Ruby laugh because they were definitely like father like son.
