it was later that day and jungkook had just invited me to a dinner date. I wondered if it would be okay considering he was an idol but it didn't seem like in this small town he is well known.

he didn't tell me the exact location we were going to and just told me to dress nicely. I put on a white dress shirt with some black pants and brown dress shoes. I didn't feel like wearing contacts so I wore my glasses instead.

"you were contacts?" jungkook asked me walking past my room.

"yea, been blind since elementary" I walked out the room and got a good look of him. he was wearing a dark blue coat with a grey shirt black pants and some dress shoes.

"lookin fine princess" he said winking and clicking his tongue

I just sighed and walked out into the car.

when we arrived at the place it wasn't anything fancy but not run down. we sat down in a booth and orderd typical meat to grill with rice and kimchi.

"did you search this place beforehand?" I asked

"yea it was hard to find a korean bbq here surprisingly"

"well it is a small town they probably don't have many cafes either"

"your right"

we talked through the silence untill the food arrived. he started grilling the meat and I cut the kimchi.

i was silent and awkward since I didn't know if he thought of this as a date or just a hang out.

we were about to say something at the same time untill we heard the song playing. it was their latest song lost. I instantly smiled and he laughed.

"seems like your known here too mr. popular"

"seems so"

I started conversing with him asking about his life his carrer and memories. we eventually started talking about childhood memories and laughed at the ridiculous things baby tae and kook used to do.

"did you honestly believe that you could talk to animals?"

"shut up it's embarrassing"

"no its not, this is gold right here sell this shit to dispatch" we laughed but soon got cut off with a phone call.

"sorry tae I gotta take this"

i nodded and he took right there.

"hm. yea unnie. seriously? right now? okay... I just saw you. fine I love you~"

my heart sank. it dropped to the floor. I knew it. I knew it all along. it's okay since I already knew it. but still why does it hurt so much knowing. I feel sick this isn't right.

"sorry bout it's just she could be-"

"a bit needy yea I got the jist"

"what up tae?"

"nothing"

"obviously it's something"

"it's nothing"

"come on why are you being like this"

"please just stop talking"

"are you upset about something? maybe I could help?"

I got annoyed with how oblivious he was and how he couldn't we that he was the reason I'm hurting. I got up because I felt the water works coming. he grabbed my wrist making me flinch a little.
