The doorbell rings and a sudden rush of excitement fills my whole body.
Excitement?
Snap out of it, Dakota!
"Hello."
"Ugh, it's just you, dad."
"Were you expecting someone else?" He asks, sounding a bit more interested.
"Maybe ..." I mumble.
"Who?"
"Someone younger."
"Don't be silly, honey," he says.
I head to the couch and casually read my sister's book while waiting for Tyler to come.
She's four, by the way.
I haven't realized until now that learning about zoo animals could help so much.
Well, if you're waiting for a date to come, then it would.
Ding dong.
I take a quick glance at myself on the mirror before heading to the door.
Well, here it goes.
"Hey," he says smoothly.
Holy cow.
"H-hi," I stutter.
We were both silent for a few seconds but it seemed much longer.
"It's nice to see you," I say softly to break the ice.
"It's nice to see you."
I feel my face start to flush so I make way for him to come in, then we head to my room.
"I like your room," he says as he helps himself with my extra-fuzzy carpet.
"Thanks."
I sit on the edge of my bed and think of other possible things we could talk about.
Oh life, don't you fail me now.
"So, what do you wanna do?" He walks towards me slowly.
"I--I mean we--could talk," I stutter.
"About?"
He's now sitting beside me.
"Stuff ..."
"What kind of stuff?" His body inches closer and closer to mine.
"Anything you like."
The next thing I know is that we're both on my bed locking lips with each other.
He unbuttoned his shirt and threw it on the edge of my bed.
There's too much going on in my head right now. I didn't want things to go so fast, so I try pushing him away but he's clearly too strong for me.
He feels my push and he shifts his gaze at me. "What's wrong?" He whispers.
"I ... nothing. I'm fine," I reply calmly.
"You sure?"
I nod my head and he smiles.
He nibbles softly on my lower lip and I groan. Why does he have to be such a good kisser?
He leaves a trail of kisses down my neck to my chest and stops. He glances at my one more time before he slides my top off.
I close my eyes and let out a deep breath.
He moves his fingers to my back and gently unclasps my bra. Then he carefully takes it off.
He cups my breasts and I moan softly. He leaves open mouth kisses below my jaw. He shifts his gaze at me then smiles.
This went on for about 20 minutes until we were both pretty exhausted. Tyler decided to spend the night there so we had to spend another 10 hours together on that bed.
When I woke up, he was gone.
I decided to take a hot bath and let everything sink in for a bit ... then I heard a knock on my door.
"Dakota?" It was Tyler.
I stood up and opened the door big enough for me to take a peek. "Yes?"
"Just wanted to make sure that you were okay ... and if you weren't mad at me," he said calmly.
"Why would I be mad at you?"
"For ... you know."
"I'm not mad," I mumble and he smiles.
He kisses my forehead then leaves the room so I could finish my bath.
We spend the rest of the day just watching movies and messing around with each other. It was pretty fun, I would say.
I guess I'm falling in love with Tyler all over again.
Maybe I never stopped ... who knows?
