Dragon Girl (Charlie Weasley)

Chapter 1

(Vanessa Hudgens plays Kaida Longbottom - imagine her younger to start with)

(She is currently 10 -  been with the dragons for a year)

I had been with the dragons for a while now, I lost track of time so I am unsure of how long to be exact. The Dragons took great care of me, there are 2 who I refer to as 'Mamma' and 'Papa', Mamma is a Antipodean Opaleye and Papa is a Hebridian Black, they looked after me and fed me, by fed me I mean whatever meat they caught they 'cooked' it for me to eat.

All the Dragons are like family and don't intentionally hurt me but I think they sometimes forget that I am not a Dragon. They just don't understand that I'm not fireproof or that I can get hurt by them.

When I came to the Dragons it was breeding season, Mamma and Papa had lost all of their young so that's why they took me in like their own, usually the parents only stay with their young until they are about a month or two old, by then they can usually hunt for their own food. However Mamma and Papa wouldn't leave me, they got very attached and I believe another reason may be that because I'm so small and unable to capture my own food that they still believe I need their protection (the other dragons took a while to get used to me and not try and eat me but after a while of Mumma and Papa protecting me against them I think they gave up and actually began liking me). When I was around 8, around a year after I had been with all the dragons I found a young dragon whose mother left him, he would have died if I hadn't found him, Mamma and Papa helped me look after him and taught him how to hunt, I had named him Brax.

I now classed him as both a best friend and protector, I had helped take care of him, as much as I could and had been with him since he was very young. He was almost full grown and let me tell you he was HUGE! He was a Ukrainian Ironbelly, the largest of the dragon species.

He was crazy protective of me and would only let Mamma and Papa near me unless I told him to stop being silly, then he would mope for a little but still kept a close eye on me when I was around all the other Dragons.

I missed my home with my parents and brother but loved being with the dragons, I just hope that they don't miss me too much.

1 Year Later
(She is 11 now - been with the dragons for 2 years)

I stirred from my sleep when I heard a huge ruckus, I stretched against Brax who was still asleep before sitting up, I then looked around to see a group of dragons making all the noise.

I then got up and started waking over to them when Brax came running up from behind me so that he could walk next to me, before we reached the group he looked down at me with an annoyed look on his face.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Fine, I'll wake you up next time instead of just leaving you".

He huffed knowing that was a complete lie because I woke up without him almost everyday and left while he was still sleeping, you would have thought he would wake up when I do seeing as I use him as warmth, at night he wraps his tail around me and puts his wing on top of me to keep me warm, I rest my head on one of his legs as a pillow, I would have thought he would feel me moving around.

When we reached the group of dragons I weaved my way through them trying not to get stomped on (they have a hard time seeing me when in large crowds due to the size difference), I saw an owl up in the tree looking petrified of the dragons, I don't blame it, if the dragons really wanted to they would eat him no problem, however the owl wasn't all I noticed, the owl was carrying a letter.
