Dragon Girl (Charlie Weasley)

Chapter 2

I began walking towards the person with Brax very close behind me, I looked around and saw most dragons stayed further back, all except Mamma and Papa who were walking towards me and Brax.

Just as Mamma and Papa caught up with us we reached the person in the tree line - a man with long white hair and a long white beard to match, he wore long robes and half moon glasses.

"Hello", I greeted.

"Hello Kaida", replied the man.

"I'm Professor Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts, I believe you received our letter" the Professor said.

"I did, I have a few conditions though, for me to come I need to have Brax with me" I said pointing behind me at the very large dragon.

Professor Dumbledore looked to be in deep thought about me bringing a 'dangerous' animal to a school, Brax is like a big teddy bear.... sometimes.

"He may come as long as he doesn't hurt any students or staff, also no other students may know of him being there and he is to stay in the Forbidden Forest, you can see him whenever you like as long as you don't have class", He reasoned.

"Ok, I have to sleep with him though, I haven't slept without him since I've been here really", I said sternly.

He thought about it again, looking into my eyes trying to figure something out.

"That should be fine. I will come get you in a few days to get your supplies from Diagon Alley, after you may come to Hogwarts with Brax, you will have to ride him to get him there" He explained.

I nodded and shortly after there was another loud pop and he was gone.

I looked up to Brax with a large smile, "WE'RE GOING TO SCHOOL", I yelled jumping up and clutching his leg.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Mumma, Papa and Brax look at me than each other with a weird look in their eye.

I decided to ignore that and go back to playing with the young dragons.

3 Days Later

I stirred at the sound of a loud pop in the distance but quickly fell back asleep, what woke me up real fast though was when I heard many thundering footsteps coming in my direction.

I let out a small scream alerting Brax and he quickly wrapped me closer to him and completely covered me with his body without crushing me, I could hear him growling at the other dragons that stampeded our way.

After everything calmed down Brax got off me and all I saw was his, Mumma and Papa's head hovering over me, I just smiled up at them and said, "I'm fine, promise!".

I slowly stood up so I didn't spook the dragons who were being sooks and hiding behind me, Brax, Mumma and Papa, I looked the direction they came from and saw the same man from the other day looking at me curiously.

I walked up to him, this time Brax, Mumma and Papa left me to it but still kept a close eye on me.

"Hello Professor", I greeted.

"Hello Kaida, are you ready to leave for Diagon Alley?", Dumbledore asked.

"Yes Professor, I have no money though", I reminded him.

"That is quite aright, I accessed your account that your parents have for you and your brother, you have enough for everything" He explained.

"Why did you access it and not my mum and dad?" I questioned, confused.
