Chapter 1

Claudia's Point of View

*May 9, 2016*

"Okay beautiful, are you ready?" he asked as he untied my blindfold.

"It's a surprise Tony, I don't think I'm ready for anything right now." I replied laughing.

"Oh... okay whatever you know what I mean, you're smart." he removed the blindfold.

"OH MY GOD!!!"

"What is something wrong? Why are you starting to cry? Do you not like it?"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU RIGHT NOW ANTHONY! ARE YOU SERIOUS?" I yelled staring at an adorable puppy sitting with a  whole picnic set up. "How did you know that I liked golden retrievers?"

"Claud, no one searches up golden retriever puppies for sale on craigslist 47 times in a week."

So you're probably wondering what's going on right now. This is my boyfriend, Anthony Trujillo. We've been dating for 8 months now. I've known him since my sophomore year in high school. I met him in Chemistry and when I accidentally walked into the boys' locker room. I played basketball, volleyball, and ran track. Yes, I know Chance, Logan, Jake, and Alissa. I've known Chance since we were 4. I'm currently in my sophmore year of college. I speak English and Spanish. And now I have a puppy named... I don't know. That's me in a nutshell.

"So what are we going to name him?" I asked as I laid my head in his lap. He started running his fingers through my hair as he thought.

"We should name him something cute like... Cloud." He said looking at the sky.

"Cloud? That sounds horrible. People are gonna ask us if we were high when we named him."

"How about Storm? Champ? Cooper? Actually I like Champ, how about Champ. You know what forget you you're indecisive so Champ is now his name."

"Oh, alright," I said laughing. "So why'd you bring me out here and give me a dog? I know you, you don't like doing cliche stuff."

"Because I love you," he said bending down and kissing me. "And because your birthday is in 3 days." he said kissing me again.

"Oh yeah, I forgot our birthdays are 8 days apart."

"Damn, we're 20! Babe we're old." he said picking Champ up like a baby. And of course Champ's butt was in my face. "Look we have a child now. He looks just like us."

"Yeah he has your eyes," I said jokingly. "Crap, I'm gonna be late for lifeguarding."

He left me, after a year. We tried long distance but we just both got so busy. We never really officially broke up, we just kind of got the message when he never replied to my 16 text messages. Then I never got his 27 calls because I was in Africa on a mission trip, I never told him that though. I still talked to Alissa and occasionally Logan. That's about it for now. I just finished my senior year of college. I graduated after 4 years of literal torture. Now I'm about to move to LA so I can keep modeling. I kept driving to the mall so I could meet up with my friend Madison. We're going to Vegas for her bachelorette trip. I parked my car and got into the mall and met up with her in Forever 21. We picked out some cute outfits for our three day trip.

"Okay so I'm thinking this, for night 1 and this for night 2." I said holding up a pink silky dress and a black lace up dress. "Oh and these for our pool days."

"Damn girl are you trying to get married too?" She said smacking my butt as she walked past me. "You're about to be 22 and if you want like 5 kids you better start hustling."
