Chapter 6

Anthony's Point of View

Chance, Tessa, and I were walking around when Chance stopped in front of a cafe all of the sudden. He was making dead eye contact with Claudia. Some random guy was sitting across from her laughing. Claudia's eyes traveled from Chance to me and back over to Tessa. Unbelievable.

"Is she?" Tessa asked confused. "It can't be he's probably just a friend." I looked back at Claudia who was literally trying to hide in her hands. Her date waved at us to come in.

"I'm about to show him a piece of my mind." Chance mumbled walking to the door.

"He's not always like that is he?" Tessa asked as we slowly walked in. "He is when it comes to Claudia flirting with guys. Let me tell you. If he was the one that saw her stumbling out of the club he would ground her himself." I said opening the door for Tessa. We walked in and Chance was scooting in really closely to the guy. I sat down next to Claudia and put my arm around her and ended up being smacked by her. Well then..

"So um what are you guys doing here?" he asked reaching for Claudia's lemonade. He took a sip and set it back in her spot.

"Well, Chance I am having a business lunch with a new friend. We were talking about our next show."

"Wow MK shows must be really funny." I said eating some of the bread on Claudia's plate.

"I've always wanted to see what those shows are like. They seem so fancy." Tessa started fiddling with the string on her sweatshirt.

"Well I'm going as a special guest. My manager could probably get you guys some seats with me. I'd love to see who Claudia hangs out with that makes her so cool. Did you know that she can shoot a paintball gun?" he asked Chance.

"Yeah we know we taught her," Chance said grabbing her lemonade again.

"We're on like a competitive team. You never told us. What's your name?" I asked grabbing a napkin.

"I'm Josh, Josh Heuston." he said taking a sip of his water.

We kept talking as Claudia kept shooting daggers at Chance. They're food finally came and Claudia finally forced us to leave. It honestly kind of hurt me when we walked out of there. It felt weird. We were gonna see them again anyways Josh got his manager to get all of us seats with him. Yay. A fashion show. We walked home and I got in the house and of course it was loud as usual. Chance told Jake about about the date and believe it or not he was cool with it. Erika was stoked to be going to a fashion show. And of course the Martinez twins had no idea what was going on so they were still happy.

Claudia told us to wear semiformal but nothing that involves a tux. I went into my closet and grabbed jeans and a shirt. I decided to just wear my Yeezys. I got ready and went back down stairs where Jake was waiting for everyone.

I decided to just scroll through twitter while we waited for everyone. I went through my notifications to like some posts that I was tagged in. I then realized something and scrolled back up.

@Team10Updates: @claudiawilson out with a new beau!?! I wonder how @imanthonytruj feels about all of his Ohio friends being taken 🤔...

Underneath the tweet was a picture of Claudia and Josh laughing as they were walking out of the cafe.  Honestly, I felt both hurt and happy at the same time. It's good that she's moving on. But am I ready to move on? I still love her... I'll admit it hurt like hell seeing her sitting their with Josh. She was laughing and smiling being her beautiful self, then she saw us and froze as if we were preventing her from being happy. I love her though, if she's happy then it makes me happy. I'm still going to wait for her though. You never know when she will need me.
