When I got home this morning mom and dad were sitting there waiting for me and josh like they knew exactly the second we got there and have been waiting my brothers and sister were also present which kinda made me nervous so I played it as cool as a cucumber.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh heLLo family people that I adore and love and missed so much..." I said staring slightly at josh who was laughing at my attempts of being cool
"You're such an awkward bean ty" mom finally said laughing and everyone else started laughing too
"So son we have news." Dad beamed and mom giggled
"WERE ADOPTING A KID TODAY AT THE ADOPTION DAY YAYYYYY!" Mom squealed unable to hold in her excitement
I started laughing congratulating them and also getting excited josh went home soon after to say hello to momma dun and his dad and before I knew it we were on our way to get a new brother or sister which is weird to say but I always knew mom and dad wanted one more just for a little bit I knew they didn't want a young kid but one to spoil for just a bit longer and to keep them company some. So they were thinking around the ages of 14 and 16.
I was excited to get to have another sibling all mine are old I mean not older than I am but still old. So hopefully this works.
