You woke up in a great panic and your body lurched upwards but you were pinned down roughly. Feeling fear build up even though you knew who it was. The room was completely black. Even the sun and its light refused to help you see anything. Your breathing got faster as you started whimpering, not knowing about what was to happen that day. Tears gathered in your eyes and you gradually stopped fighting back. It's like the force had just watched you move but not do anything at all. Your lip quivered as you felt a familiar pair of scarred lips softly graze across yours. "Why so scared (y/n)?" His ragged voice said above a whisper. Obvious that he wore a sadistic grin. Tears gathered in your eyes. "W-Why.." you whimpered. He made a sound in question.
"Why are you doing this? Your going to-" you tried to finish but his hand quickly went over your mouth. He looked at the door, the sound of knocking at the front door rang through the house. A pang of fear hit you and remembered the 'party' that he had planned the other day. His grin somehow grew and he quickly got up and slipped on his normal choice of clothing. Your body lunged forward towards him, you don't know what came over you but he dodged you. Your eyes widened as you felt an aching pain in your cheek. You knew he had hit you, immediately regretting your decision. You had fallen on the floor and started shaking. Wanting to do something to help your case, but you knew that you were screwed. His grin had grown into a scowl and he glared down at you, but said nothing as he left the room and went downstairs. Tears started rolling down your cheeks as you looked over at the mirror. Your hand lightly grazing over the now darkly bruised skin. Feeling your cheek start to go numb slightly. You shuffled over to the bed and silently crawled onto the sheets. Letting yourself go limp like a doll as you broke down. Wondering what the hell you did to deserve this.

Little fucker was actually brave today, I was shocked that she would try something like that with me.
I grinned to myself as I remembered her reaction to my hand slamming against her cheek. In all honesty, it was out of reflex. But I couldn't help but wonder if I did...more then that. I shook off the thought as I came to the bottom of the staircase and to the front door. Opening the door and smiling like normal. "9h, there y9u are Kurl9z." Kankri started as he turned around to face me. "F9r a sec9nd I th9ught I w9uld have to call s9me9ne, 6ut I guess n9t." He said with a slight laugh. I nodded with a smile and let him in. He looked around with some confusion on his face. "Kurl9z, I d9 wish t9 say th-" he tried to finish but he felt a strong hand holding a potent rag push itself against his mouth. He struggled immensely and tears started running down his cheeks. Before he went unconscious he had looked up at the highblood. Fear and confusion in his eyes. A couple seconds passed and his body fully went limp, almost falling to the floor but being caught by the Makara. He sighed and brought the unconscious red blood upstairs. He looked at his locked bedroom door for a moment, where she was. A grin crossed his lips and he unlocked the door. Noticing that she had cried herself to sleep. He set Kankri down in a dark corner. There was work that had to be done, but maybe Kankri keep her company before his death.

You woke up with aching eyes, sniffling and sitting up. "(Y-Y/n?)" your heart jumped at this voice and you quickly looked over to the owner of it. "Kankri?" Tears rolled down your cheeks and you shot up out of bed. You ran towards each other and hugged. Immediately starting to cry on his shoulder. "Kankri I'm so happy t-to see you, I-I thought I would die here." You choked out as his hand ran itself through your hair. You were surprised that he didn't say anything about triggers. You both ended up on the floor, you sat in his lap still sobbing to him. He rubbed circles on your back and rocked you back and forth. "Everyone's 6een s9 w9rried ab9ut y9u (y/n)." Your heart broke at the thought of not seeing your friends again. He pushed you away slightly to look you in the eye. His eyes just stared into yours and a look of immense despair crossed his features. "He...he did things t9 y9u...didn't he?" He said nearly above a whisper. Tears rolled down your cheeks once more and you clenched your eyes shut. You heard him sigh and pull you close to him again. "I'm deeply s9rry y9u had t9 g9 thr9ugh s9mething like that." Kankri had always thought of you as a sister, the thought of anyone hurting you made him boil over with rage. He wanted to do something but he knew that if he tried to go against Kurloz he wouldn't live, he's a lot stronger then he looks and he's a highblood. That just screams for a bad ending.
It had gone silent for the longest time and soon you heard the footsteps coming up the stairs. Your eyes widened and you curled closer to Kankri, fear and sorrow took over. Your hand gripped his red sweater tightly. His arms hugged you and pulled you closer if it was somehow possible. You thought that whoever it was would've stopped at the door, but they went through the hallway. As if the person was looking for something. Your heart jumped again at the thought of a savior on the other side of the door. You got up and crawled over to the door and listened. They had stepped on something on the way to the staircase and you finally heard them.
