7. Its getting worse

I groaned and shifted my position under the covers. My arm reached over to the other side but I felt nothing. I opened my eyes and frowned. She was probably downstairs, since the dumbass seadweller pretty much demolished my door last night. I sat up and got off the bed. I still wore my clothing from yesterday so I just walked down the hallway and to the stairs. Silence rang through the house and I started to panic slightly. My eyes softened as I remembered injecting her with the green liquid, humans aren't used to that. It probably caused some damage. I walked down the stairs and looked around the living room. Everything was in its place, even the remote to the tv still sat where it did last night. I looked over to the door and my eyes widened.The door had been unlocked all night.

You didn't remember much from the night before, only that you were still living a nightmare. You kept your eyes closed, knowing that you would wake up in the same bed, living the same hell like yesterday. You felt a hand place itself on your shoulder and you jerked in response to the unknown action. You heard a sigh and footsteps going out of the room, but you didn't hear a door. You opened your eyes just enough to see and you gasped. Tears forming in the corners of your eyes. A familiar red blood walked in and without a trigger warning you quickly hugged him. You could feel him smiling as he hugged back. Muttering thank you in his sweater over and over again. His hand rubbed circles on your back. He picked you up and sat you on the bed, sitting next to you. "Is there anything y9u wish t9..talk ab9ut? Things that y9u wish t9 get 9ff y9ur chest may6e?" He asked and you took a deep breath. Explaining everything you witnessed and knew about the situation. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I w9uld say that we c9uld g9 there and give him what's c9ming t9 him, but.." he stopped for a moment and you saw his eyes start to glaze over. "He's already murdered Meenah and Feferi. Eridans devastated and he's been really depressed lately. I d9nt kn9w what happened t9 the 9ld Kurl9z." He said with sorrow. You yourself felt some tears slip out. The silent but happy clown had changed, and it was obvious. The feeling of guilt started to build up. If you would've just stayed away from the trolls then none of this would've happened, and you wouldn't have had to go through what you did. Even if he only did it to you once in the time that you were there. But it's to late for that and you can't change the past. Kankri was starting to get a little worried at your silent demeanor. He softly put his hand on your shoulder. "(Y/n), y9u did n9t tell a69ut what he 'ahem' t9 y9u. And I feel like it might help y9ur em9ti9ns m9re if y9u vented t9 me." It was quiet for a moment but then you broke down in front of him. He immediately hugged you and started rubbing your back as you started telling him.

Kankri was silent as he took you downstairs into the kitchen for some tea.
He didn't want to trigger you any further and it was obvious that he was being cautious of his words. You sighed as he boiled some water on the stove. A small smile came to your face, it felt like home. There was no fighting, no worries about someone finding out that you were outside. You felt calm here and you loved it. He set down the two cups of hibiscus tea and sat down across from you at the small table. He stared out the window for the longest time, occasionally taking a sip of his beverage. You had drank half the cup as it had been a while since you had a relaxing drink. Peace filled the air until a knock came from the door. Kankri snapped from the trance and got up to answer it. You heard him walk over to the door and look through the peep hole. Nothing was said as he slowly but quietly backed away from the door. He quickly grabbed you and led you upstairs, he put you in a darkened room. "Kankri, what's wrong?" You started to get scared at his actions. He said nothing and went over the the door turning to you. "Please 6e safe (y/n)." His eyes glazed over and you started to run over but he slammed the door and locked it before hearing him walk downstairs. The front door opened and you immediately heard a scuffle start. The urge to bang on the door was strong but you knew who was downstairs. The sound of a glass breaking startled you and you crawled into the darkest park of the closet, pulling the door closed. The light from the window in the room helped you see a little bit. You heard Kankri's scream and the noises stopped soon after that. The house went silent and there was a laugh, loud enough for you to hear it. Your eyes widened and you locked the closet door. The fear deepened as you remembered Kankri wearing the key around his neck like a necklace. Footsteps rang through the house as they went up the stairs and straight to the room you were in. It went quiet until you heard the door being unlocked and opened. You body quivered violently as you heard a sickening chuckle. "There's nothing to be motherfucking scared of lil mama, I'm just gonna fucking give ya a little welcome home present once we're back at 'our' hive." Tears started forming in your eyes as you knew what the 'present' was going to be, the thought of being back in that hell hole made your eyes water. The footsteps led to the closet door and your breathing hitched as he unlocked it with the same key. The door creaking loudly as it opened. The light shining on your small form in the corner. "Aww, there you are sis, you had me motherfucking scared for a little bit." Your body started trembling as he got closer and closer until he tipped your head up towards his. He bent down and smiled maliciously at your fearful expression. "I've missed you dearly, and now we can have guests~" He said as a sickening feeling entered your stomach again. You tried crawling away but he gently grabbed you and picked you up. Clenching your eyes shut as his breath went across your neck, light whimpers escaped your soft lips and he ran his tongue across your neck and down to your collarbone. He chuckled and looked into your eyes, his being glazed over with insanity and lust. "Let's wait till we get home lil mama. We don't wanna waste a good time here~" You started thrashing around in his arms as tears started rolling down your reddened cheeks. Screaming no, for him to stop and let go of you. You felt a familiar needle in your arm and you let out a sigh as you felt yourself going numb in his arms. "Don't worry lil mama, you're all mine~"

And that's the last thing you heard before passing out.
