18. Starters

You hugged and shuffled your legs, his purring getting louder before a shrill yell from the upper deck rattled you both. Dualscar pulled away immediately, his eyes sharpening as he stayed still for a moment. Hearing silence afterwards, his rough breathing grazing your cheek as he sat up completely and got off the bed, grabbing his harpoon gun. "Dual, let me come with you." You said, getting up as he turned to look down at you. "No lass, you're staying in here until I find out vwhat happened." You gave him a concerned glare, about to get off the bed but before you could he shut the door, hearing him lock it behind him as his footsteps faded off. "You've gotta be kidding me!" You let out an agitated grunt, jiggling the knob before giving up. Sighing and going over to the window, looking out to try and see if anything was happening. The water was still calm, the dark blue waters gently pushing into the ship, if anything, it was rocking less then it did earlier. You looked around the room in search of something blunt, you walked over to the closet and opened it, seeing a couple old weapons and other stuff. "I know good and well I won't be able to lift that up." You spoke to yourself, motioning towards the slightly rusted chest piece that laid in the corner. Looking around more you found a mallet. Picking it up and immediately finding out it had some weight to it. Quickly making your way over to the door, you put your ear up or the wood and listened for anything. You heard footsteps coming down the hall, listening closely and noticing....those aren't his....
You took in a deep breath and backed away from the door, trying to be as quiet as possible. You stood like a statue, staring at the wooden door as the noise got louder and louder until it stopped, right outside the door. Feeling your pulse speed up as it went deadly silent, a soft noise came from the other side, fingers glided across the wood, whispers ensuing. The voice being so raspy and quiet that even your own breathing overpowered it from where you stood, your body trembled as you gripped the mallet so hard your fingers went white at the tips. A purple glow showing from under the door, making your breath hitch.

You cried out, jolting up and shaking tremendously, Dualscar immediately up and at your side, his tired voice comforting you. "Lass lass what's wrong?" He spoke lowly, your arms wrapping around him and tightly hugging him as you sobbed. He sighed and pulled you close, petting your head. "It's okay lass, I promise ya that." He rocked you softly, closing his eyes. It was a little while before you were fully calmed down, your breathing still shaky. Your mind confused, what happened? ......what actually happened?
You looked up and Dualscar, his eyes meeting yours as he brushed the hair out of your face, he opened his mouth to speak but you gently shushed him. "Please...tell me what happened when you came in here...yesterday." He raised a brow slightly, humming in question at first, before complying. "When I got done on the upper deck I came in here, you were still sleeping lass, and you were asleep, until now that is."

It didn't happen.
None of the lewdness that ensued in this bed had actually happened.

This made you sigh slightly, although it was a little disappointing....I mean, you did have feelings for him. But the timing wasn't right, as of now. He looked down at you, as you realized you had spaced out. "Vwhy do you ask?" He said in a gruff tone, his hand caressing your face, that almost immediately flushed over with reds and pinks, even in the dark, he could tell, you were practically glowing due to the heat. He got a small smirk on his face, only making it even warmer. "Ohhhh, I see vwhy." He said in a teasing tone, making you fiddle with your hands and look down at your hands. He chuckled and tilted your head up again. "Lass, there's no need to be embarrassed, everyone has those thoughts about someone, it's normal." His words made your heart hurt, feeling like he was pushing it into the 'it happens at least once with everyone' bin. You nodded a bit, then a question revolved in your mind. "Dual?" You got his attention, his eyes looking into yours as he waited for you to continue. "Do......do you have those thoughts?....about anyone of course I mean I don't want it to sound-" he cut you off, his finger pressed against your lips as he let out another chuckle. "Lass, it's alright. I can tell your overvwhelmed, vwe can talk more tomorrovw." He pushes away the question, laying down and pulling you next to him. You got a cold shiver, snuggling close to him and sighing.

Well, at least you have  a conversation starter for tomorrow-
