Liam's POV
I start to feel beads of sweat forming on my forehead as I realize that those men in the corner could actually be looking for me, and only me. Not anyone else. The more I thought, the more I sweat. I started to thing about my day.
I drove to school
They walked in a bit before me
They went to the officeThey might have been trying to find who the exact student was and if he went there. In the case, if I went there.
They walked passed my classes
They walked passed my lockers
They were and currently are in my class
They starred at me when I raised my hand to say that I was in the class.
It currently feels like they're starring at me now.It feels like everyone is starring at me.
"Since I don't really don't see the point in homework, I'm not going to give it out, just talk amongst yourselves for the rest of the class." The substitute said as I got up and went to the back of the class to meet harry.
"You saw how those two looked at me when they called the attendance right?"
"Who the hell didn't?" Harry said as I should've known the answer. Everyone was whispering and glaring.
"Does Liam..."
"What did Liam do?"
"He's just a nerd, what the hell did he do?"
"He's literally sweating bullets"
"I hope he's okay"
"That freaked me out when they looked at him and they weren't even looking at me"
Liam...
Liam...
Liam...
Liam...
I was stuck in a classroom full of gossip as everyone was talking about the incident that happened at the beginning of class. It felt like I was in the middle of interrogation. The spotlight on me, no one else.
I was sitting next to Harry but it felt like I was in the front of the class giving a presentation. Like everyone's eyes were on me. I was in the back of the class feeling like this. As I looked up I would catch glances of other people looking at me.
Harry wrapped his arm around my shoulder with an aggressive side hug. "Liam, chill out man. They probably aren't even looking for you. And if they are.....then......I don't know."
I sighed and realized what he said wasn't helping. I kept starring back at the clock and hoping that this class would end. Every second, every minute, the tension within this class has gotten thicker. Everyone got quieter. You could start to hear less of the whispers of whatever everyone else was talking about.
Thankfully the bell rung and I tried to be the first one out of the class but I was pushed by everyone else so harry and I were one of the last people to almost get out. I felt a tug on my shoulder. I turned at it was one of the men in the black suit. I didn't even feel strong anymore. My confidence that I've built over the past few months felt like it drained to nothing. I felt like I was that nerd again.
"Liam Payne?" The man said in his low raspy voice. I nodded my head. There was no use in lying bc they were there with attendance and they already knew who I was. "Meet us in the black SUV in 10 minutes. I will be nice and if you're not there in ten minutes I'll come find you. You won't want to see us be mean." He squeezed the pressure point in my shoulder which made me drop to the ground.
"Understood?" He asked as he squeezed harder. I yelled 'yes' so he would let go. I ran to my locker and saw Harry. He saw how shaken up I was. He saw all of that in my eyes.
"Get the license number of that Black SUV in the parking lot if you can. They said I have to be inside of it in 10 minutes or else they won't be so nice. If you don't hear from me for more that 24 hours please give the police the license number. I'm going to go so they don't come and possibly kill my parents or something."
"Wait...WHAT?! Liam? You're going to actually go? What if they kill you?" Harry asked is a whispering yell trying not to catch anyone's attention.
"Well if they do, tell my family I love them. Just get the license number." I closed my locker and began to make my way out of the school. I looked behind me and Harry was a good distance behind me to make sure they wouldn't notice. I began to make my way to the parking lot where I saw the black SUV. I started to sweat. I couldn't believe I was going to get into these peoples SUV.
What scared me into doing it was, what would happen if I didn't. They wound down the window and told me to get into the back. I opened the door and sat down. Immediately they began to drive away. I saw Harry looking up and down at his phone as we passed but I was nervous as to where we were going and what was going to happen.
30 minutes into the drive
"Can you at least tell me where we are going?" I asked trying to get on their nerves so they'd crack and tell me something.
"We are already here. Now get out." The car care to a stop in front of this big mansion. It was huge. It was on a big piece of land too. But why was I here?
I was in between the two men. Each of them had one of my biceps. One rang the doorbell and was met by one man. He looked like a businessman. He had dark hair, a bit of facial hair, and he was my height.
The two pushed me down onto the couch and sat right next to me.
"Little boy, Liam is it? Do you know who I am?" The man who opened the door asked. I'm guessing this is his house. But, how does he know who I am?
"Yeah I am. No I don't know who you are? Why do you need me here?" He just laughed at my response. I reached inside his suit jacket and grabbed a cigar.
"I am Jean, Cheryl's or Ms. Coles, ex-husband. And I don't like you very much Liam. You want to know why? Because you are making Cheryl, my love, fall for you and I don't like that at all. I hate it. Now I'm going to give you a deal Mr. Payne, you stop talking to her and I'll give you this thing back. He opened the door and on the other side I was shocked to see them all bruised in front of me. Gagged and their hands tied behind their back. All I could say was... I'll do it.
