Liam's POV

I just sat in the car with the lights off thinking about all that we talked about tonight. How fun it was. How she looked. I mean it was a bit creepy that I saw her in this way but she was very important to me, I think?

I'm very confused at what it is that we could be. She was a teacher, I was a student. But I was graduating this year so that could make up for it. She looked so beautiful. The way that she smiled couldn't leave my mind. She was so elegant, yet a bit edgy. That was the whole feeling of the night. Like she wanted to do something but she knew it would be bad.

After a few minutes of just thinking, I figured I'd go home. Mother is probably worried about where I am considering it's already 11:30 on a school night. Right before I turn on the car I hear a faint scream. I had all of my windows up so the scream had to be really loud for me to hear it. I opened the door to see if I could hear it again, and I heard nothing.

I turned on my engine and made my way home wondering what it was, if it was just my imagination, or someone was actually screaming about something.

Before I new it with all of that thinking I was doing, I was in the driveway. I looked at the front door and saw an angry mom waiting for me. I huffed a turned off the car knowing I was about to get screamed at.

"Liam you know that curfew is 10:30! What time is it right now!?" I looked down at my phone realizing that it was now 12:07. I closed my eyes as my mother continued to scream. I just sat on the couch and stared out the window trying not to doze off. My eyes started to get heavier.

"LIAM! LIAM DID YOU EVEN HEAR ANYTHING I SAID?!" I heard being screamed at me louder than ever before. I shook my head and stood up.

"Mom I am here now. I wasn't even doing anything bad. I know exactly what you're gonna say now. How much you were worried, how I don't tell you stuff, how I don't do this, how I don't do that, but I told you I was going to be home late mom. I'll just go to my room and suffer." I told her before planting a kiss on her forehead and making my way upstairs.

As I was thinking that scream kept making its way through my mind. It's kind of bad, but did that scream even happen?

Next morning

"LIAM GET UP. YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!" I heard from outside my door. My eyes shot open and I looked over at my clock seen 7:25am on my clock. School starts at 7:30. At first there was just shock going through my mind. Once I realized I was already going to be late anyways, I just shrugged it off. I got ready slowly. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and all of the other usual things before I went downstairs and got met by my angry mothers face once again.

"Really? I told you that you were going to be late and you just take your time Liam?" I widen my eyes and just nod before I go into the kitchen. "Mom I'm going to be late anyways. Plus it only takes ten minutes to get to the school." I made toast before I made my way out of the house and into the car.

As I made my way to school I saw a black SUV making its way driving behind me. In my mirror I tried to make out who or what it was driving the car but the tint on the window was too dark. I just thought 'whatever' and kept driving to school.

As I started walking to the front door I saw the same SUV right in front of the school. I try not to stick my nose in any business that doesn't include me but this time I was kind of interested. Two black men got out of the SUV and started to make their way toward the office. I wanted to follow but I had to get to class.

45 minutes later

Once class ended, I walked to my locker only to notice the men in Black patrolling around the school making everyone feel a little weird. Normally the hallway is full of screams and laughing in the hallway, this time it was murmurs and scared looks. I did my combination and right as I went to open my locker I feel hands hit my back. It scared the crap out of me and I immediately thought that it was those men.

I looked over my shoulder and took a breath of relief. It was just Harry.

"Why is everyone so creeped out by these dudes? They're probably just here to find the druggies and see what they now about something." Harry laughed which made me laugh too. Considering that it could be true I relaxed a bit.

"I have no idea but they sure look like they're gonna get someone today." I said before the bell rang and everyone was scrambling to get to their next class. I was walking to my next class and I walk inside and see the men in Black sitting in the back. Everyone, including the teacher, was very tense seeing them back there. They looked very intimidating.

The whole day went by and it felt like they were following me. They were in every other class of mine. It could be someone else but because of their thick black glasses on their face you couldn't really tell where they were looking, that's why I immediately thought that it was me.

I walk into the best class of the day, Ms. Coles class. I walk in and once again my eyes go to the two buff men dress with a black button up, black suit, black shoes, and black sunglasses sitting at the side of the class. They looked like they were apart of some mafia. I scanned the room for other things unusual and I don't find anything other than a substitute.

What? Why? There's nothing wrong with her. She wasn't even sick or anything yesterday.

I gasped and just wondered if I did anything wrong last night that freaked her out. What if I did? What if she's planning to leave schools because of me? What i-, my thoughts got cut off my the substitute saying, "Liam, Liam Payne?" I looked up and raised my hand.

The two men at the corner of the room looked at each other and then look at me. The people who did see it looked back at me. They didn't look back at me like wtf, they gave me a concerned look. I haven't done anything wrong. I don't do drugs. Hell, before this whole boxing stuff I was a complete nerd. Once the substitute started talking and I started paying attention, it felt like I was being looked at. Or watched. I couldn't help but look over at the men who's bodies where turned in my direction.

Maybe they were looking for me.
