Do you ever get that feeling like you just don't belong somewhere? It eats at you and you try to ignore it like a pebble in your shoe but it's persistent and hard to ignore. That's how I feel sitting in this fancy lingerie store.

"Amber! You got to get this one!" I looked up from my phone to see Amber and Isabelle fawning over a see through baby doll top and a pair of underwear that more closely resembled floss than anything else.

"Girl I already have that one! Oooh but this! This is what I'm talking about." Amber held up a fire engine red corset like top. "My boobs will look great in this." She held it up to the front of her body and grinned.

"What do you think ladies?" Isabelle asked both Beatrice and I.

"It looks fantastic, now can we get out of here?" Beatrice growled.

"Okay missy, five more minutes." Amber rolled her eyes and grabbed her desired items before making her way to the cash register.

"Weren't you the one that wanted to come here?" Isabelle asked Beatrice with a small grin.

"Yeah but I didn't expect you and Amber to be shopaholics! Why can't we just sit in a café or something?" Beatrice complained.

"Caffeine is bad for the baby." I reminded her of her own words. She wasn't even letting Ray have coffee or soda throughout the duration of her pregnancy.

"Then I'll get decaf!" She snapped and I tried not to flinch. She was bound to pop any day now and the old Beatrice would be back.

"Ouch, way to yell at your friend and Luna." Isabelle poked.

"Not to mention the world's best pain killer." Amber said as she approached with her purchases packaged away. "We can head out now, the guards are starting to look antsy." Beatrice gestured with her head to the doors where our team of ten warrior guards stood waiting for us.

"I should have accepted the wheel chair Jared offered." Beatrice groaned. I offered her my arm to help her stand and she took it. "Thank you Emily, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I just want this pup to pop out already."

"It's okay, just a few more days and we'll get the old Beatrice back." I smiled and she smiled back almost sheepishly.

We made our way to the outside of the store and joined the warriors that were waiting for us. A few heads turned in our directions and some bowed. It was out of respect but at times the packs respect felt more like isolation. I hope that will change over time.

"Thanks again for agreeing to come out with me. I just really needed some time out of the house, Ray hasn't been letting me do much." Beatrice admitted as we walked beside her.

"The same thing happened with Paul when I was pregnant. He kept me inside nearly 24/7 it was ridiculous." Isabelle rolled her eyes but had a smile on her face.

"That's why I'm holding off on the baby wagon. Last thing I need is Adam thinking he can just trap me inside." As Amber spoke she typed away quickly at her phone.

We continued walking down the many store fronts at a slow pace while talking more about the pack and our plans for the week. We stopped at a small bakery and bought desert and ate them within the store.

"I'm already a whale, might as well eat like one." Beatrice joked as she continued to eat her slice of cake.

"You're not a whale, you are a healthy pregnant woman." I countered as I ate my own slice of cake. I would have liked to enjoy it with a cup of coffee but resisted for Beatrice's sake and got a glass of milk to accompany it.
