I woke up, cold and still. I felt his breathing on my neck, the only thing that was warm. My body was sore and in so much pain. I was scared to move.
Aeron's alarm starts to ring and he gets up. I didn't want to look at him at all. He began to get dressed.

I felt so wrong, disgusting almost. My heart ached. What did I do wrong? What did I do to deserve this?
I looked at my clothes on the floor and curled up in bed. Everything felt like shit.

Aeron came back into the room after a few minutes and grabbed his wallet and keys.
I saw him at the corner of my eye, he was looking at me.
"Olive." He called out.
I didn't respond.
He walked closer to me, I didn't react.
"Olive, tell me you love me."
He stood in front of me, but I continued to look straight ahead. I didn't want to speak.
He raised his voice, "Tell me you love me, Oleander."

I didn't understand why he wanted me to say that. Did he just wanted to feel less guilty for what he's done? I don't know, I couldn't tell.

He kneeled down and looked right into my eyes.
"Please tell me you love me. Tell me you still do."
He reached for my face and rubbed my cheek with his thumb.
"Olive-"
"I love you." I blurted out without thinking.
He gave me a slight smile.

"Kiss me." He commanded.
My body moved without thought. I positioned myself and kissed his lips. After a few seconds he pulled me away and got up once again.
"I'm going out. I'll see you later Olive."
I nodded and he left.

I looked at my body. I was uncovered since Aeron took the blanket away.
This stupid, stupid body.
I'm just a toy.

Tears filled my eyes but I rubbed them away.
Maybe a shower will help me.

After showering and getting dressed, I decided to leave and see if I could find Vincent anywhere.
Luckily, it was chilly outside so wearing a long-sleeved shirt would be fine.

I got out of Aeron's place and headed towards campus.
It was difficult for me to walk, as my back was killing me.
I guess that's what I get for only thinking about myself though.
Aeron just had frustrations and I just put my needs before his.
I deserved what he did to me.

Right?

...

Right.

After a few minutes, I found Vincent on the ground next to a tree.
Surprisingly, he didn't have a book open like he usually did.
I walked up to him.

"Hey Vince!" I said as happily as I could. I didn't want to concern him with my burdens.
He looked up at me, a bit startled, "H-Hey Oleander, what's up?"
"The sky," I chucked. "What's going on with you? You're not reading like usual." I sat myself down next to him while he scratched his arm.
"Eh, I can't focus at all today so I won't be reading."
"Can't focus? Why?"
"Just things on my mind is all." He sighed.
I felt a bit worried for him, "What's bothering you?" I asked.
Vince shrugged, "I think it's just the party tomorrow. I've never been in a party before. I'm kind of scared?" He avoided looking at me, as if he felt embarrassed to admit he was scared over a party. I laughed a little, "Scared? You don't have to worry at all Vincent. I'll be around you the entire time I promise!"

He didn't respond to me, seemed like it was really getting to him.
I grabbed his hand to ease him. His eyes widened, a bit shocked from it.
I gave him a reassuring smile, "It's gonna be okay. I'm going to make sure you have the time of your life, baby!" I gave a sort of victory pose with a huge smile on my face and laughed, in hopes of making him feel better.
He laughed a bit, which made me happy. I haven't seen him laugh before!

"Okay, if you say so. Also don't call me baby."
Ah yes the ol' Vinny was back.
"Hah okay, I won't. But trust my word! It's gonna be A-Okay!"
His body relaxed and he looked down at the two of our hands. Then the realization that we were still holding each other's hit us and we quickly pulled away.
I blushed a bit, "Sorry! I forgot."
He didn't say anything but immediately grabbed my hand back again, "Ow-I mean ah-Vincent?"
