What?????!!!!
Why would Cameron be in health services?

I text Nash once I realize he isn't here.

Maddie: where are you? Cam's in the hospital

There's no answer at first so I put my phone in my pocket. A few minuets later, Nash is calling me.

"Hey."

"Hi. I texted you."

"I know. I thought a call would be better..." his voice trails off. I decide to soften my voice before talking again.

"So, Cameron's in health services actually." I say much steadier.

"Yeah...I know."

"So why aren't you here?"

"I couldn't. They wouldn't let me come."

"Who?"

"The doctors."

"That's crazy. Doctors usually let all friends and family come."

"Not if you're the person that put the other person in the hospital." Nash's voice was becoming quieter while he spoke. I didn't say anything, what could I say? I don't know what went on but the way Cameron has been acting, I can see why Nash punched him. But Nash wouldn't punch hard enough to put him in the hospital. He is no hulk btw.

"Maddie! Are you coming?" Carter yells from the limo. When did they get over there?

"Nash, I got to go." I say into the phone. "We're going to see Cameron. I'll text you the address."

"Fine." He says a little too hard. I start walking to the car. "I just wish you wouldn't go."

"I have to see how he is."

"Why do you still care?!" Nash snaps.

"Because I do." I say harshly.

"Why?"

"Just because!"

"Don't go Mads. It isn't worth it." I stop dead in my tracks, and not so luckily, right in front of the limo. Mads...that's Nash's nickname for me. Usually it calms me down, but he only said it so I wouldn't go. God he pisses me off.

Without answering I hang up the phone. He doesn't even know me. No one knows me. In fact why am I even at MagCon when the only people I know are Carter and CC?

"I'm not going." I tell Carter without getting in the car.

"Why? Where are you going to go?"

"Home."

*CC's POV*

"Madison! Come back!" I yell after her, but someone grabs my arm.

"Cs let her go." Taylor says turning me around. "She just needs to cool off." I decide to listen to him and walk back to the limo.

"Was she serious?" Carter asks me back in the limo.

"No. I don't think so. Maddie gets upset, but she never leaves the people she loves."

"But she left Cameron." Aaron says.

"I know." I say looking him in the eyes. Everyone goes tense. They all know what happened between the two. They all realize that I was referring to Nash when I said Maddie doesn't leave behind the people she loves.

I just wish Maddie would realize it. We drive to the health center and go up the front desk.

"Are we allowed to see him?" Matt asks the nurse.

"Not until he's stable." She answers.

"When will that be?"

"It all depends on the patient. Your friend had a high level of alcohol in his system. It's hard to say when he's able to leave."

"Well we need him now! There is no waiting! So sober him up and hand him over!" Matt commands.

"Bro, calm down." Carter says to him.

"I think you need to leave sir." I'm impressed by how calm the nurse addressed Matt. I probably would've thrown a shoe at his face. But not one my pumps of course. Matt goes to keep shouting, but Carter pulls him outside before he can start.

"What are we supposed to do?" Jack J asks. Everyone looks around. They all have the same look, blank.

"Nothing." Carter answers.

*Nash's POV*

Perfect. Maddie hung up on me. I thought she loved it when I called her Mads. It was like 'our thing'. What if she didn't hang up on me? What if aliens invaded Earth and landed in the hospital and hated cell phones so they took hers and now she's trying to get it back? That's a real thing right? Like it's a possibility?

Or nah.

I'm alone, again. Not just in my room, but I'm also alone in life. Hayes went to go hang out with the fans to like clear his mind or something. I don't know he's like really into that hippie mediation stuff.
Yeah, I have a weird brother.

I still haven't told Hayes about our dad. I just haven't had the heart, or balls to tell him the truth. And luckily, he hasn't asked me about it either. I let him go with the fans so I could clear my mind. That's when I called Madison. I should have just went up to her room at 6:00. I don't think she left before then. I was just about to go to her room, but something was stopping me. And now I feel like punching myself in the face.

I finally peel myself off the bed and walk to the mini kitchenette. I make some toast with nutella, life's number one priority, and pull out a soda before heading to the couch. I don't turn on the television, just kind of stare at it. Admiring the blackness of the screen.
Okay so Hayes isn't the only weird one in our family.

Speaking of family, my step mom starts to call me.

"Hello?" I ask with a mouth full of toast.

"Nash honey," her tone is soft, almost sympathetic even. "something's happened."

"What?"

"Your father..."

"What? What happened to him?" I say almost spilling my soda on myself.

"He's in a coma." Right at that moment I get a text from CC.
