*Madison's POV*
"MADISON YOU BITCH!!" I hear CC yell as she storms into the dinning hall. How can she be so awake at a time like this? She usually never wakes up until noon, that's why she's my best friend. But am I hers?
"What?" I choke on my food.
"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME?!"
"Tell you what?"
"Don't play dumb with me!" She shouts and notices Nash sitting next to me. "And you! You are such a fucking man whore! Do you think you can just take advantage of my friend and get away with it?!" She screams in his face.
"You're not one to talk about taking advantage of someone!" Nash yells back, surprising I think everyone, including himself. I hear Jake laugh but he bites his tongue to keep the rest of it in. Katie looks confused as hell and whispers something into Jakes ear. He nods and seems to be giving her the brief summary of how I have ruined everyone's lives.
"MADDIE ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?" CC shouts at me. I jerk my head up, away from Katie and Jake. I didn't even realize I had completely zoned out. I look around and see that Taylor is directly behind CC. Wow. Thanks for the backup bro.
"Um-what did you say?"I ask, dreading the answer. CC's about to repeat her words, but Nash takes control.
"She didn't say anything that was true." He says coldly and glares at CC. Her posture loosens up a bit and Taylor takes a step back. That's when I notice Cameron standing in the doorway. My eyes meet his and I hold his gaze until he finally looks away, with pain.
His eyes were glossy. Was he crying? But why? Cameron wipes his eyes so quickly with his hand, but I was still watching. He looks back up and I snap my eyes away from his body before I get lower down. Cameron's eyes go wide, but they soon fade back to normal as he looks at me. He shakes his head and turns away, running out the door.
"Ja-Where's Jake?" I ask Katie when I turn around to see an empty seat next to her. She points past me and I see Nash and CC having a major screaming match. Jake is backing Nash up and Taylor is kind of off to the side. He tries to help, but CC pushes him away.
"Does this usually happen?" Katie asks me.
"No. It was never like this before..." I trail off when she nods her head, understanding. "Can you tell the boys I'll see them later?" I ask her, remembering Cameron. She nods and I rush pasts the four people. Taylor tries to grab my arm but I thrust his hand off and dash out the door.
Once I reach the elevators, I vigorously push the up button trying to make it come faster. It's no help, the elevator still comes as slow as a snail.
The door finally opens and I close the doors after pushing the ninth floor. Almost sprinting off the elevator, for a reason I don't know why, I start to head for room 987. When I get to the right hallway, I see that the door is open.
I step inside and gasp at the sight in front of me. The place is trashed. There is broken glass everywhere, I just hope it's from the lamps. I'll worry about paying the hotel back later, as I step into the danger zone.
"Cameron." I say, seeing him sitting in between the two beds on the floor. "What did you do?"
"Um--played baseball?" He says, looking innocent.
"Baseball?" I ask, sitting down across from him. "By yourself?"
"Yeah. I'm just that good." He slightly smirks and I can't help but laugh. I meet his eyes again and see that they are drier but still a little glossy. Cameron's looking at me now, like really looking at me. His eyes are dreamy, like they were made from Willy Wanka's Chocolate Factory. I just want to fall into an endless world of his chocolate eyeball.
