Caught off guard

Charlie's pov

As Jess leaves for a shower, I run a
hand through my hair and breath deeply, I must be seeing things, right? My mind tells me but my heart says other wise.
Throwing on my jeans I suddenly hear something fall to the floor, as I listen closer I hear the bathroom slam open.

" Jess? You alright?" I ask as Icome closer to opening my door, with no answer I swing open my door and look to my left then my right and suddenly my breath catches as I see what's standing in front of me.

Backing up he lunges towards me and collides me with the wall, gasping I swing punches at his face, he ducks one then throws a punch in my gut making me double over and gasp for air, he grabs me from behind and puts me in a choke hold, gasping and clawing at his arms, my eyes connect with Jess's limp body outside my door, wheezing out

"why...are..you..doing this?" At that he chokes me harder making me see black dots and my air way to close. As darkness comes I can see him in the floor mirror and all I can see is his smirk under his hoody.
With one more tightening of his arm soon I start to daze and darkness welcomes me.

Olive's pov

As we enter the forest a soft breeze blew by, stirring up the leaves and trees. As I follow close behind Tobias, my eyes connect with beautiful trees,

"What made you go adventuring today?" I ask to Tobias. He turns around and leans his back against a tree.

"We have become distant lately and i figured this would bring us closer." he replies.
Smiling at his words, I listen to the birds chirping.

"Tobias?" Catching his attention he asks

"hmm, babe?"walking closer to him I grab his hands.

"We will never leave each other, and I love you." I say as I look into his eyes.

He smiles widely then grabs me around my waist and lifts me off the ground in a hug.

"Tobias!" I screech "put.. me..down!" I scream while laughing, laughing he puts me down and takes off running.
Tobias don't leave me! I shout while running after him in the forest, as I run after him, I see the hunting shed and freeze.
Breathing heavily I see the shed door is open a crack. Looking over my shoulder I see Tobias knelt down poking something with a stick.

"Tobias can you come here a minute?" I ask him.

As I hear him approach he asks

"why what's going on?"

"When you were looking in here couple weeks ago was the door Locked?" I ask him whilst turning back to him.

"Yeah I locked it." he replies taking a step forward.
As we walk closer the door bangs open making us flinch, leaning forward we look inside, nothing but a few dear skeletons. Tobias steps inside further.

"What are you doing?"I ask following behind him, looking over my shoulder to the forest I can see its getting windier.

"Babe come here." Tobias' voice rings through the shed.
Turning back around I see Tobias standing in the middle looking at something on the floor, furrowing my eyebrows I step in and walk over to where he stands.

"whats the matter?" I ask.
As I say that he points to the ground, following his hand I can see what he's pointing at, a door handle connected to the floor

"um-  um what's that?" I ask getting nervous, he grabs my arm and pulls me closer to him.

Suddenly he bends down and grabs a hold of the handle.

"What are you doing?! I hiss, he ignores me and pulls the handle but it seems stuck, my eyes move around the floor and then I find a trail of blood, following the trail it comes to the door on the floor.
Widening my eyes my voice comes out in a whisper scream "Tobias!" But he ignores me and grunts trying to pull it open "Tobias " I say again but ignored finally loosing my patience i shout, "Jesus Tobias listen to me!!"

"What Olive!?" He bursts turning his head to me, pointing my finger to the trail of blood his eyes follow my arm and his eyes widen.

"Is that fresh?" He asks whispering, nodding my head, he grips the handle harder and it springs open. Coughing as debris flies around, Tobias comes near my side.
Adjusting our eyes, we look into the door way.

"What the heck is that?" I whisper, he walks closer and sqauts down, it's a tunnel he replies while looking up at me. Feeling dizzy I lean against the wall, "Where does it lead to?" I ask in a nervous voice.

"This wasn't here when I came here two weeks ago and I don't know but it looks pretty far." Tobias replies.

There's blood staining the walls though, Tobias says in a shaky voice, gulping
"we gotta go now!" Tobias my voice comes out harsh.
Nodding his head we leave the shed in a rush, walking fast through the forest my mind is making up a million scenes, starting to run now we see the house now.

"Tobias what if-" but he cuts me off,

"It's not him, Olive." Nodding my head we head up the stairs and unlock the door.

Silence welcomes us.

"Jess? Char?" I shout swinging off my backpack, with no response me and Tobias share a look.
"I'll look in her bedroom!" I shout heading up the stairs.

"I'll do his room!" he shouts back, swinging open the door I see an unmade bed and clothes everywhere,

"Jess?" I say out loud going through her closet.
Suddenly Tobias appears in the doorway breathing heavy.

"did you find them?!" Shaking his head, he replies

"No but the bathroom is destroyed like someone was struggling."

Widening my eyes I push past him and head into the bathroom, looking around I see the hamper knocked over, blood on the sink and the shower running, as my heart beats faster one thing comes to my mind, turning around slowly.

"Tobias I think- but as soon as I fully turn around I get hit in the head with something.
