He gets hurt

James Gordon
With Jim being a cop, trouble tends to find him. When trouble finds him, the two people at the center of that trouble are usually Barbara Kean (his psychotic ex-fiancé) and Oswald Cobblepot. There was one incident with Theo Galavan that made you worry about Jim. When Galavan attacked him and left him to die while he was on his way to murder Bruce Wayne. After that debacle, Jim came home to you. "What happened? Where were you? Are you okay?" You asked frantically. "Baby I'm fine, I'm fine. I promise I'm fine." He reassured. You hugged him tightly and buried your face in his shoulder. To this day, you still worry about Jim.

Oswald Cobblepot
Oswald was always a target. That much you understood. But sometimes you feared for him. And you had a right to. You were hanging out with Ivy (Now adult Ivy) when you saw a figure in her bed. "Ivy who's this? What've Selina and I told you about housing strangers?" You scolded slightly. "Y/N he's no stranger; that's Mayor Cobblepot." She answered as if it was obvious. "What?!" You said and sat by his side. It was Oswald. "Oh my god, Ozzie." You said holding his cold hand. He'd been shot. "Ozzie I promise you I'm gonna find whoever did this to you and they will have hell to pay." You said darkly. No one hurt your king of Gotham and got away with it.

Jerome Valeska
If you knew anything about Jerome, it was that he likes to pick fights with people...precisely fellow members of the Maniax. Greenwood was always the person he liked to pick fights with. It didn't come as a surprise if you saw him with bumps and bruises; you knew it would be from Greenwood.

Edward Nygma
Before he turned into a murderer, he was this shy and awkward little nerd. You were working at the GCPD as Ms. Kringle's assistant in the Records Annex. You and Ed were together, and people liked to make fun of him. Who was at the center of this harassment? Arnold Flass. He and his posse of cops liked to make fun of Ed, saying that you should be with someone that's not afraid of their own shadow. It infuriated you. How dare they treat your boyfriend like that?! You'd had enough of it and as soon as you saw Ed getting pushed around, you took matters into your own hands. "Leave him alone, Flass. You're nothing but a bully." You spat to the dirty cop. "What'd you just call me?" He growled as he grabbed your wrist. You flipped him over and then arrested him. "Arnold Flass, you're under arrest for first degree assault. You have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you." You said as you chucked him in a cell. Then you looked at his posse. "Get on in here you bozos." You ordered. Then you raced to Ed's aid. "Honey are you okay?" You asked gently. "Love I'm fine. Did he hurt you?" He asked worriedly. "I'm fine. I just couldn't stand to see him hurt you like that," you answered. Ed smiled and kissed your cheek. "I have the best girlfriend in Gotham City."

Bruce Wayne
It may come as a shock to you (not really) that with Bruce Wayne being a billionaire, there are lots of people that want him dead. Theo Galavan happened to be one of them. Yeah, when he was into the whole 'Death to the Son of Gotham' thing. So as his concerned girlfriend, you obviously went to Captain Barnes about the fact Bruce Wayne was missing. You'd found signs of a struggle and your father was nowhere to be found. "Miss Pennyworth, I assure you we will do everything we ca—" "Captain Barnes...Bruce will die at the hands of Theo Galavan tonight. Detective Gordon knows this and my father too. But they're nowhere to be seen. So—" "Let go of me! Where's Detective Bullock?" Came your father's voice. "Well that settles where my father went. Now please, Captain. I know Bruce Wayne isn't at the top of your priority list. Hand it over to Detective Bullock and I will get out of your hair." You said. By the time they'd gotten to Bruce, he looked unharmed. "Alfred, I'm glad you saved me and all, but I really just wanna see Y/N." Came the voice of your love. "Then turn around, Master Bruce." Your dad said and when Bruce turned around you nearly tackled him in a hug. "Oh thank god you're okay," you said. Bruce just smiled and held you close. "I knew you'd come. I just knew it." He said. You helped him up and then brought him in for a kiss. For now, it would be one of the scariest days of your lives. But Bruce was alive and that's all you cared about.

Alfred Pennyworth
Now, Alfred has been severely hurt very rarely. The two occasions (that is known as for right now) were when Reginald Payne stabbed him and when Ra's al Ghul forced Bruce to plunge a sword through Alfred's heart. You sat in the hospital there with Alfred both times. Though, you thought he was a goner for good. It wasn't Bruce's fault; it was Ra's al Ghul's fault. You just held his hand and kissed his head gently. You shouldn't have been there due to the widespread panic of the release of the Tetch virus but it was worth it to see Alfred. You made a vow that day: from this day forth, you would always be involved in whatever Bruce and Alfred were involved in. You fear that if you're not...you could lose them both for good.

Victor Zsasz
As a hitman, Victor will get an aggressive victim here and there. But that's until he met Jim Gordon. Jim is one of the most stubborn men you've ever known. And he will never go down without a fight. So it didn't come as a shock to you that he came home with a bruise on his jaw that he received from Jim Gordon.

Jonathan Crane
Jonathan was a constant target for bullies in school. But the pain he suffered most from was when his father decided to dope him up on the fear juice he was making. It permanently damaged Jonathan. Your dad even wouldn't let you come and see Jonathan at the hospital. But you did visit him when he went to Arkham. The first few visits were rough; Jonathan couldn't even look at you without seeing those dreadful scarecrows. Over time, with each visit Jonathan got better and better. After about three months, Jonathan could finally look at you and have a conversation. The scarecrows would come every now and then but he could control it.
