Brynn's POV

The screams of girls got louder as i analyzed Luke.

'I know you're watching me.' he stated as a smirk made it's way onto his face.

I looked away as a blush crept onto my cheeks.

'Uhh Luke?' Kevin called as he cautiously placed Luke's drink on the counter. Luke walked over roughly and snatched his cup. Luke walked back to the wall, but this time he was facing me. I looked down and ran my thumb over the thin scars that littered my left wrist.

'Brynn.' Kevin called. I turned around and reached out for my drink. he pulled it away teasingly.

'You can have this if you give me your number.' my eyes went wide and I reached out behind me. I knew like was watching the entire time and once I felt Luke's fingers entwine with mine I took a deep breath.

'You're gonna give her the drink right now.' Luke said sternly. I saw Kevin roll his eyes. with a huff he placed my drink on the counter and pushed it towards me. I caught it with both hands and tuned around. I left Luke to deal with Kevin as I grabbed a straw and searched for a seat.

I took off the wayfarers as I sat at a table against the window. I pulled my glasses out of their case and put them on. I took a sip as I waited for Luke. I heard a knock against the window and looked over. a girl stood with her cell phone in hand, waving at me. she smiled and typed a message.

'Are you dating Luke?' it read. I reached into my bag and pulled out my sketchbook. I scribbled a message and pressed it against the window.

'No. but you can if you'd like to!' I smiled. she squealed and jumped up and down. She typed another message.

'What's your name?'

'Brynn. what's yours?'

'Amelia.'

'Nice to meet you!' I laughed as she blushed.

'Well he was fucking annoying.' Luke muttered as he took a seat. he looked over at me and I looked at my hands.

'Oh this is Amelia!' I chirped as I pointed to the starstruck girl. he laughed and took my sketchbook. I watched as he smiled and laughed with Amelia.

I saw him pull out his phone and type something in. he showed it to me before posting.

I smiled as he tapped away on the screen. I watched as Amelia's phone buzzed and she started screaming.

'Did you follow her?' I asked. he nodded looking up at me with bright blue eyes. all of the sudden a flash went off and I launched myself towards the window. I shook my head and knocked in the glass as Amelia typed away in her phone. finally she looked up and saw my worried face.

I took Luke's phone and DMed her telling her to delete the picture. but I was too late. the picture was on twitter already and was gaining more and more responses.

'Shit, this is bad. this is so bad.' I muttered as Luke looked at me. he took the phone and his face went pale. he knew what this meant.

Two years of staying out of the spotlight ruined by one crazy fan. this could be the end. I could be taken away from Louis and Jamie still because me and Iris weren't 21 yet and they still haven't located my father, who was on the America's most wanted list.

'Brynn it's gonna be okay.' Luke said as he reached for my hand. I pulled it away.

'This is all your fault!' I whispered as I stood up.

'What is my fault?' he asked cluelessly. he knew exactly what I meant.

'If your friends hadn't hit me with that car I wouldn't be here!' I said my voice raising.

'I had nothing to fucking do with that!' he said sternly standing up. I had to look up day him as my small 5'4" frame was nothing compared to him.

'I'm leaving' I yelled simply as I snatched my belongings off the table and threw them in my bag. I started towards the door but was stopped when a hand clamped around my arm. I turned sharply and punched them in the nose. only then did I realize it wasn't Luke, but Kevin grabbed my arm. with a huff I turned and pushed open the glass door.

As I walked down the street I was stopped by Amelia.

'What happened?' she asked as my face paled.

'You posted a picture of me.' I mumbled as I started walking backwards away from her.

'Why is that such a big deal?' she scoffed.

'I have people after me who will hurt me and my family and you,' I poked her shoulder, 'just endangered all of us!' I yelled before taking off once more towards the hotel.

When I reached the hotel everyone was waiting. Louis saw me and came running. I ran into his arms and let out the tears I was holding back. He rubbed my back soothingly before scooping me and and carrying me into the elevator. I blocked out the many questions coming from the boys. when we reached our floor Louis carried me into me and Iris' room where he placed me on the bed.

Iris crawled onto the bed and stroked my hair out of my face. she also wiped my eyes of the tears that were stuck there. Louis and Jamie sat on the bed and Jamie started to hum.

'I thought I saw a girl brought to life
She was warm she came around
She was dignified
She showed me what it was to cry
You couldn't be that girl I adored
You don't seem to know or seem to care
What your heart is for
But I don't know her anymore.' Louis sang softly catching on to the familiar tune that Jamie had hummed.

'There's nothing left, I used to cry
My conversation has run dry
That's what's going on
Nothing's fine I'm torn.' Iris sang as I sat up and she started to loosely braid my hair.

'I'm all out of faith
This is how I feel
I'm cold and I am shamed
Lying naked on the floor
Illusion never changed
Into something real
I'm wide awake and I can see
The perfect sky is torn
You're a little late
I'm already torn.' I sang as I pulled my knees into my chest.

'Brynn he won't get you.' Louis stated as he took my hand. 'we promise.'

Little did he know that even the biggest promises, can still be broken.
