Brynn's POV
~~~~~~~~~'Shh Bo!' I whispered as I pulled the French silk icecream from the bus' fridge.
Bo stopped whining and sat down. I grabbed a spoon and snuck back over to the couch. I watched the familiar land marks pass by as we approached the place where it all began.
Boston.
The one place I never wanted to see again. I sighed. at least the Boston University championship game is this week. My thoughts drifted back to the night before we first arrived here.
~flashback~
'Psst!' I looked to my side and saw iris laying on her small bed.
'Yeah?' I questioned, sitting up and grabbing my glasses off the side table.
'Are you as nervous as I am?' She asked In a small voice. I nodded.
'Its scary, leaving New York I mean. We've spent 16 years here and now we're leaving.' I said trying not to think about the events that occurred 2 years ago.
'Im glad we're leaving. No more pitiful glances, no more bullies, a new mom...' She stopped. I played with my sheets and looked out the small window at the moon. Iris began to hum and I quickly caught on to her tune.
'She said I think I'll go to Boston...
I think I'll start a new life,
I think I'll start it over, where no one knows my name,
I'll get out of California, I'm tired of the weather,
I think I'll get a lover and fly him out to Spain...
Oh yeah and I think I'll go to Boston,
I think that I'm just tired
I think I need a new town, to leave this all behind...
I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset,
I hear it's nice in the Summer, some snow would be nice... oh yeah.' I sang along softy as my eyes began to get heavy.~end of flashback~
I sighed as the sun rose over the horizon and the rustle of sheets emanated from somewhere behind me.
I dug my spoon deeper into the tub of ice cream and sighed in content.
'Do you even know what time it is?' my brother whispered as he plopped down on the couch next to me. I nodded.
'I had a moment.' I admitted as I shoved a spoonful in my mouth. Lou nodded. he knew I would always eat ice cream after moments.
'Is it the town?' he wondered as the buildings grew taller and the streets busier. I nodded.
'Is it Luke too?' I nodded again. he had been distant over the past two months between Seattle, Dallas, and Chicago. he's been ruder too. I thought our moment together meant something. but I guess not.
I placed the cap back on the carton and walked to place it in the freezer. I looked at the clock that read 7:53 and walked back to Lou.
'There's an IHOP around the corner if you want to stop to eat.' I said. He looked shocked. I hadn't eaten much since the start of tour.
'Sure.'
'Anna!' Iris and I screamed as we ran across the stadiums grass.
'My kitties!' She began to run towards us. we collapsed in a group hug. I heard the rowdiness of my ex classmates as they entered the field for a pre-game practice and looked up from the hug. Lou and the boys stood awkwardly on one side of the field while the football team stood on the other.
We removed ourselves from each other and she looked over us.
'You girls look so healthy! your eyes so bright and you skin flawless.'
