A pic of Brianna^^
The end of the day passed in a flash. I couldn't get my mind off of the horrible scene that happened in the hallway. The way the woman's dress was burned. It reminded me of how I was burned two years ago. As hard as I tried to forget, my mind would go back to the hallway. Becky would call them visions. My power was growing bit by bit. My recent power was seeing into people's lives. I guess the woman in the hallway was my first vision.
I also couldn't believe that all of this happened in the hallway. Isabelle saw me doing god knows what. I just moved here. I didn't want to leave because people would find out my secret. They would call me freak, and wacko. Besides the dark, that was another one of my fears.
Besides the horrible scene in the hallway, I kept remembering how that guy looked at me. He was emotionless. I couldn't tell if he was stunned, disgusted, or curios. This guy was my number one puzzle I needed to figure out, and I didn't even know his name.
Hanna looked at me in worry. I guess my face was showing the events that occurred today.
"What's wrong Ian". She asked with worry in her voice. I snapped my mind away from my thoughts.
"Just a lot on my mind". I said hesitantly. She wasn't convinced.
"Oh come on. I know you. Just tell me". She demanded. I needed to think up a lie and fast. Hanna didn't know about me and I wanted it to stay that way.
"I just have a really big project coming up. It's worth sixty percent of my grade". I explained. Her face softened, as she bought my lie. 'Damn I'm getting good at this'. I thought. I felt a vibration in my jacket pocket and went for me phone. I turned it on to see Isabelle's text.
Having a birthday party at my house tomorrow! I would love it if you came! It starts at 1:00 pm. My address is 44 willowcreek. I hope to see you there!
I rolled my eyes. I wanted to go, I really did, but I needed to figure this whole vision thing out.
"Who's it from". Hanna asked.
"Isabelle. She's having a birthday party, and wants me to come". I explained. She looked at me with happiness on her face.
"You should go". She said punching my arm. I debated it for a little bit, but finally texted Isabelle back saying I'll be there. We finally drove up to our home. The house was red with clear windows. It had two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen was small, so was the living room. We had white carpet with brown walls. I liked our Texas home better, but it is what it is.
I went inside the house and walked to my room. I opened the door and sat my bag down. My room had lime green walls with awards from drama on them. I had white carpet and a queen sized bed, covered in a black sheet with a blue comforter. I automatically collapsed on my bed and pulled the blanket over my head. Tomorrow will be another day.
*******
I woke up around twelve. I tried to wipe away my grogginess with coffee, which worked for the most part. I hopped in the shower turning the water extremely hot. After a lifetime, I hopped out and went to my closet. I put on blue jeans with a black t-shirt with a white flag on it. I put on my black sneakers and got in the car.
The drive took forever. I was really nervous, but excited all at the same time. I've never been invited somewhere before. 'Calm down, it's just a party'. I thought to myself. We arrived in the driveway of her home. It was a little tan trailer with a lake in front of it. I saw Isabelle running towards Hanna's car.
"She looks happy to see you". Hanna chuckled. I rolled my eyes at her.
"Just pick me up at 9". I said sarcastically. She nodded as I stepped out of the car. As soon as I shut the door I was nearly tackled to the ground.
