Warning!!! Thoughts of suicide are presented in this chapter!I couldn't move. I couldn't breath. I couldn't do anything, but stare into the night sky. The paramedics arrived shortly after the woman called them. They wanted to take his body away, but I wouldn't let them. I sat up against the truck looking into the dark sky, while still holding Stephan's hand.
"Ian. You have to let him go". A voice said. I didn't even flinch.
"I know it's hard, but you have to let them take him". The voice was familiar, but I didn't care who it was.
"You loved him. He loved you. Stephan wouldn't want you to lie here for the rest of your life". I tore my gaze away from the sky, to look at the person speaking. Her red hair shinned in the moon light. Lucy looked at me with dread in her eyes. I looked at her for a few seconds, before I looked back up into the sky.
"Ian, lets go home". She said.
"This is my fault". I whispered. She came closer to me, and I looked at her with my emotionless face.
"How could this be your fault Ian". She said sadly.
"He was on his way to talk to me. If I wasn't on the road, he wouldn't have crashed. It's all my fault". The paramedics looked at me with confusion. I just rolled my eyes and looked back at Lucy.
"Hello?". A voice questioned from a distance. My heart dropped. This voice was so familiar it killed me.
"Can you please help me!". The voice cried out. I couldn't move. My heart was beating out of my chest.
"Please anyone! Why aren't you talking to me!". The voice screamed. 'This can't be happening'. I whispered in my head.
"What's going on!". The voice yelled behind me. It took everything I had to move my legs. I slowly made my way up to my knees. I let go of the corpses hand, and started to stand up. I peeked over the upside down truck and gasped.
"Stephan". I whispered quietly.
"Ian? What's going on?". He questioned. I couldn't speak, it was like I didn't know how. He looked down into the truck and screamed.
"Is that me?". He whispered through tears. He looked up at me again. There was no glass, no blood in his hair. He had on the same clothes, but no evidence of a crash happened. I turned away and started walking to my car.
"Where are you going!". He yelled. I kept walking. If I turned around, I would collapse. I needed to act as casual as possible. I finally made my way over to the car and got into it. A loud bang roared on my passenger window. Stephan had fear in his eyes as I stared back at him.
"Get in". I whispered. I reached over and opened the door to let him in. Lucy must have left. She wasn't in sight when I looked for her.
"What's going on! Is that my body in that truck?". He questioned. I looked at him emotionless. I started the car and started driving again. "Where are we going?". He whispered.
"Your dead". I said with sadness in my voice.
"What? No I'm not. Or other wise I wouldn't be here talking to you". He snapped.
"You were in a car accident. Yo-". I started to say but he cut me off.
"I'm not dead!". He screamed. I acted as casual as I could be. If I freaked out, he would to.
"You died while holding my hand". I finished. He looked at me again.
"I thought that was a dream". He said through tears.
