As Liam approached our table, I got up from where I was sitting. "Liam, do you think we could speak privately for a moment?"

Liam rubbed his hands together as his eyes widened a bit, probably in slight fear and anticipation. "Of course, Zayn."

We walked back to the bathroom and stood by the door.

"Look, Liam, I just wanted to apologize. I shouldn't have had gone off on you when you asked me such a little question."

Liam put his hand on either side of my face and smiled warmly at me. "Zayn, there's no need to apologize—"

"Yes, there is," I interrupted. "I upset you, that's enough for me to have to say sorry."

"Zayn, really, it's fine. You do it all the time, I'm kind of used to it."

"Really?" I asked in shock. "Why haven't you ever confronted me about it?"

"I thought if you cared enough, you would've noticed. And you would've changed yourself."

"Liam, if I ever do something that upsets you, just tell me, okay? I'm oblivious to these things, and you know that."

"Okay, Zayn."

I began to turn around when Liam grabbed my hand.

"Zayn?" He asked sweetly.

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you, too, baby." I pulled him closer and softly pressed my lips against his, then moving back to our table.

"Thank you, Zayn, I had a fantastic time tonight," Liam said as we arrived at his house. He turned his head and faced Niall, who was sitting in the back. "Thank you for joining us, Niall."

"Thank you for having me," Niall replied with a coy smile.

"I'll see you two some other time. Bye." Liam leaned in and pecked my lips.

"Not so fast," I said, grabbing his chin and pulling him in for an even longer kiss. I knew that when Liam and I acted romantic, it made Niall uncomfortable, but it serves him right; I mean, that's exactly how he made me feel when he was with Harry.

"Okay, that's enough, Zayn," Liam laughed as he pulled away. "Good night!"

"Night, baby." I blew him a kiss as he got out of the car and he blushed in response. "You can come in the front, Niall."

Niall got out from the back seat and sat in the front, buckling his seat belt.

"Did you have fun tonight?" I asked him as I began to drive.

"Yeah, yeah, I did. Thank you, Zayn."

"Don't thank me, Niall. It was all my pleasure."

We stayed silent for a few moments before Niall spoke up. "Zayn?"

"Yes, Niall?"

"You love Liam a lot, right?"

"More than words can explain."

"Then do me a favor."

I stopped the car on the side of the road and looked at him. "What favor?"

"Treat him right, please," Niall begged. "It doesn't matter how you treat him when you guys are alone. When you guys are hanging out with another person, you should still make him feel like he's the only one in your sight. I know you don't want to make me feel uncomfortable, but really, I don't mind. Trust me, it's what every guy wants: He wants you to make him feel like you wouldn't be able to survive without him. And you can't live without him, right?"

"Right."

"Exactly. So please, take my advice."

"Of course, Niall. Thank you," I said, shifting the car into gear.

He's right, I thought. Liam deserves to be treated like a king.
