In a world full of arrogance, narcissism, and egotism, solicitude was both a beautiful blessing and a terrible curse.

Excluded, heartbroken, she locked herself in her room, where she found a new friend. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months.
'I love you.' She told the mirror on the wall.

Sometimes,
she wanders
into another world,
naively,
like a lost child.
And when
she comes back,
she always has
the stars in her eyes,
the moon on her lips.

I walk the path,
I chart myself,
Devoid of anyone.
With nothing but a dream,
Some hope,
And a pocket full of sun.
