Chapter 4 ⚜The Duel

A few hours later, Valeriana finally finished packing her room with all her stuff. She was as lying on her QUEEN sized bed. She was about to fall asleep, but she heard a few knocks behind her door which made her fully wake up. They were like loud booms echoing across her room.

Valeriana stood up from her bed, slowly but surely and took her time walking to the door. Apparently, the person who was knocking, got impatient and started knocking louder, resulting to kicking the door open.

"Could you be just a little more patient?"

Valeriana was seriously annoyed. She was having a great day until this happened. She knew that this is as such a small thing to be mad at, but she didn't care. He better have some good news, or something that she would be interested in because if he doesn't, then he would have just wasted her time.

"You have been requested for a duel."

"W-what...??? By who? Why? When? Where???"

"They said not to tell their identity, all I can tell you is that you need to train hard for it. VERY hard. I'll take my leave now, I hope you actually train rather then say that your ready for the fight, because your not."

With that last sentence, he left like nothing happened. He was quite surprised that Valeriana didn't ask any questions, nor did she stop him. She just watched him leave.

Once he left, Valeriana was speechless. She was just at a loss for words, why was she being  challenged for a duel so early on? She just entered the academy!

(A/N: This is not Zion asking to battle Valeriana, this indeed is someone different, but I will leave that to you guys to figure out who it is. Zion will battle Valeriana later in the story, but see if you can guess who it is in the comments! Anyways, back to the story!)

Now Valeriana had even more to think about on top of what already happened today her. Great. Life is great.
