Chapter 5 ⚜The Worry

Valeriana was trying to figure out who it is, that wants to duel her. Maybe some signs or clues that someone might give her, so she can know.

(A/N: I will show some clues in the next few chapters, so maybe you can see if you can find them to figure out who it is. I will also state who it is once the duel starts!)

It was morning time, and the Twelve went down for breakfast as usual. Of course, Keelan was the most excited, and Brindon made absolute no emotion. As she was looking around the table she was naming everyone as she went along. Keelan, Brindon, Elfre, Zelvin, Charles, Tamara...etc.

(A/N: I know the names aren't in chronological order, and it's suppose to be like that. So don't be mad! ☺️)

Valeriana was so happy when she realized she actually new their names! This is legendary, she usually never gets names like this so fast! Especially a whole 11 people. All in all, she was just proud of herself for being that smart.

Everyone was there except Corvan. For some reason, she started to get worried. Usually, he would be there, but this time it seemed to be a different story. She wanted to go check on him, but she didn't want to say it out loud.

A loud boom suddenly echoed through the dining room. It resembled to the sound a lightning, loud and can leave damage.

Valeriana jumped and looked straight over to where the sound came from. Of course, it had to be Corvan making a dramatic entrance. She sighed and pretended that she saw nothing.

Once Charles came with the food, Keelan was already drooling. Valeriana had been at the academy for a few days now, and she understood that Keelan is the BIGGEST foodie ever! Ever since the first time she met him, he was complimenting and eating the food.
