"So how are we going to be doing all of this?" Maxwell asked as he lifted his head from Tanya's lap. They'd been laying in bed talking about how everything was going to go for Christmas for a few hours and still came up with nothing.

"It doesn't really matter to me because you know your mom will be here and doing whatever she wants regardless," Tanya shrugged as she set down the book she was reading. "You know once that lady's mind is set, there is no going back and trying to change it."

"Yeah, I guess," Maxwell said thoughtfully. He pushed her body back on the pillows, taking her lips in a passionate kiss.

Tanya moaned as he sucked her tongue into his mouth and lowered his body on top of hers, nessling his hips between hers and pushing so she could feel him.

"God woman, I want you," Maxwell's deep rasp filled her ears as he pulled her tighter into him, his hands on her hips as if he could feel her heat right against him.

"You're the one who said no sex until we're married," Tanya retorted.

He sighed before lowering her body and laying his head on her stomach to calm himself down. "I know," he kissed her stomach, feeling a weird object. Lifting her shirt, he laughed. "How the hell didn't I notice this? I can't believe you still have your belly button pierced."

"I didn't have it in half the time you saw me naked but all the others, I guess you just weren't looking," she shrugged as he toyed with the dangly piece of jewelry. She currently had in a cursive 'M' with a heart behind it. "It never closed so I put one in every once and a while."

"Did you have it in when you were pregnant?" Tanya shook her head. "And it didn't close?" She shook her head again. "Well I guess since you got it when you were fresh out of high school."

"Tiffany's didn't close either, but that's not the only piercing she has. Her clit had to be taken out too."

"Your sister is a sex addict," Maxwell chuckled.

"Why do you think Roger got her pregnant so easily?" Tanya said with a raised brow. "The moment he knew she was off her birth control, they almost never left the house because he was determined to get her pregnant."

"I wanna have another baby," Maxwell said out of the blue as he kissed a circle around Tanya's flat stomach.

Tanya tensed, her mind going into panic mode, he knew. "Is that so?" She spoke, keeping her voice level.

"Yeah, I've always wanted to one day get married and have like ten kids. I just never really found that person until I met you."

"How could you have possibly known I was going to be a good mother? Or that I even liked kids?" She retorted.

"Because of how you are with just about any kid you've ever seen," Maxwell pulled himself up to look into her eyes. "You're a natural born mother. Remember when 'Sandra came to visit and the kids wouldn't calm down? You got all of them to listen in the matter of seconds with no effort at all. You even helped women at the office in the daycare when I didn't have anything for you to do. Yeah, I knew about it, that's why I gave you time without work but didn't tell you to go home."

"You're crazy," Tanya shook her head.

"Will you at least think about it?" He asked seriously. "I don't wanna get you pregnant and you hate me for it."

"So you're going to be trying to impregnate me??"

"Well, probably," he admitted.

"Maybe."

They didn't talk further about it for the next few days and she still hadn't told him about the pregnancy, much to her sister's dismay. She just wasn't ready for it yet. Holding onto that inkling of fear was what was killing her slowly, from the inside out.
