Prologue
"Are you ready?"
Napalingon ako kay kuya Gab. He was looking at me worriedly. Na para bang sinasabi nya na dapat kayanin ko.
Napahinga ako ng malalim. Saglit lang akong nanatili dito pero hindi ko maipaliwanag ang nararamdaman ko. Kung masasaktan ba ako o matutuwa. Kinakabahan ko.
"Magiingat ka.. Hindi ka namin pababayaan."
Niyakap nila ako isa isa dahilan ng pagiyak ko. Nahihirapan ako. Nasasaktan ako. Pero kailangan. Kailangan kong gawin toh para sa kanya. Kailangan kong gawin toh. Eto na ang oras para sa misyon ko.
Tumalikod na ko. Pero naramdaman ko ang paghawak ng isang malamig na kamay sa kanang kamay ko. Binitawan nya iyon at may nilagay sa leeg ko. Hinawakan ko ang pendant na iyon. Wings.
"Kayanin mo. Hindi sya magbibigay ng pagsubok na hindi mo kaya. Mahal ka namin. Paalam."
....
*Baby cries*
"Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Smith. You have twins. Do you already have a name to call them?"
Nagkatinginan ang mag asawa at napangiti. Matagal na nilang pinagiisipan kung ano ang magiging pangalan ng magiging kambal nila.
"We will name our baby boy Phoenix and our baby girl Light."
